If you're concerned at all about the power leveling - the guy repeats to Hanayama that Tokugawa told him that Hanayama was completely outclassed by Musashi. That's why he gripped his hands to the point of bleeding. So it's being acknowledged.

So am I, but I might try to see it to the end of the arc. If I'm reading through to Hanayama dying, I'm gonna try to read through to Musashi dying.

I don't think that the tattoo is supposed to be foreshadowing, though. Tattoo guy isn't part of the Hanayama family; he saves the Hanayama family. So, if anything, somebody's gonna get chopped up saving Hanayama.

I'm never going to be not mad about the fact that there's never any point at which Speck can actually see the tattoo; it's only visible to the audience, and this is never acknowledged in any way.

it still can, but it's just increasingly unlikely as time goes on
though, have *some* hope - if there were to be news on the anime, it wouldn't be in the actual chapter; it'd (generally) be on the cover of the magazine
so, when the full mag is out, I'll be able to see for real if there is/isn't any news this week; fingers crossed, I guess
