while i'd say Flip Flappers is a better show in every meaningful way, Kill la Kill isn't good because it's good. It's good because it's not afraid to be terrible and occasionally dips its toes in "terrible". And it's better for it. If that makes sense

Flip Flappers is like a mashup of Kaiba with FLCL, it's really similar to those shows, but it's cleaner than either, it's kinda spotless, maybe too spotless. It's not much like KLK in that sense.

I don't know if KLK fans would like Flip Flappers, but I did
