The OVAs were semi-decent abridged version of the novels, but the ending was terrible.

Haven't seen the TV series which I'm being told was more faithful.

I quite liked it, Parn was a likeable MC alongside Cute!Deedlit. One thing that bothered me was the reused fight scenes but overall it looked beautiful and really had a high fantasy feeling to it.

I'm tired of seeing new fantasy animes with video game settings and whatnot, I just want some classic elvish bitches and adventure.
