The Wild Hunt is a yearly event that involves capturing all the wandering ghosts in 12 days. The one known as the Wild Hunter also comes to Brightonbury. Both teachers and students have been waiting for this event and Constanze has decided to participate this year. Constanze created a special mecha to participate this year but Akko accidentally breaks her partner, Stanbot. Without time to fix it, can Constanze and Akko do something?!
Characters are what carry the show for me
>Akko accidentally breaks her partner, Stanbot
>I want my mememidget instead of actual episode
I like one of their asses.
>These two will never get an episode
Why even live
>Accuses others of wanting meme characters.
>Posts wold's worst animation studio.
All is lost.
>Ursula sensei, how is this supposed to help me get better at magic?
I think we need to gauge this now.
I WILL make Columbine & Dunblane look like a fucking joke.
Thanks, very kind
>"G-go away anon. This is my safe place.."
>ywn never slip and fall face first into Amanda's crotch
Episode ratings by side character focus. Assumed Akko is MC.
Lotte (for fucks sake)
Amanda's side bitches
>he doesn't already have an account on Japan's premiere site for posting fanart
What did he mean by this? Time was, everyone took the effort to make Pixiv accounts. You whippersnappers are far too entitled.
The story construction is a total tonal mess. They really should've put the Green Team episodes earlier in the show. KLK did it right: even if a lot of the side-characters were later treated like jobbers, putting their episodes early made them feel like actually part of the cast. Putting the Green Team episodes this late feels like when mediocre shounen manga gives an underdeveloped character that's just about to die focus and a flashback.
Gosh, you're so original, i mean, fuck, haven't seen this post in like the past 6 threads or so.
>putting their episodes early made them feel like actually part of the cast.
I'll never forgive the KLK director for what they did to Sanageyama and Tsumugu, so I have to disagree with you.
I wish we could have all these character episodes without involving Akko fucking up each time. It makes the episodes too formularic and I hate it when series shove a character down our throats, especially since Akko doesn't even get any development or anything that would warrant all that screentime.
Looks like opinions are highly divisive on the next episode, probably the most flavored i've seen so far, quite interesting.
>Still no Croix & Chariot interaction in the school
Seriously what the fuck
Some people are just tired the past 3 episodes felt like a forced side-quest. It pretty much halted the foreshadowing chart progress completely.
It is moments like these i truly cherish not being a progressionfag, i just love having my little witches every sunday.
>The character shaping up to be a villain uses a blend of technology and magic.
>There haven't been any interactions between Croix and Constanze
Seems like Constanze would be all about the SSS.
I actually loved last week's episode, I am just tired of that 'Akko is cheating and coincidentally helping everyone else with her actions'-scheme that's been done to death in this series. Was there any episode that wasn't constructed like this?
>Wagari will interview Conz
>same VA will talk to herself all episode.
>Chariot and Croix wont get a flashback episode
>Everyone in B team gets their own episode
Yeah. Last time Akko tried to cheat at something was episode 7, and even back then she only did it because they drew her into a corner.
She hasn't done anything like that since then.
Episode 16 halted the cour 2 hype. The only thing that can restore it now is episode 19.
Bless you anon, i was waiting for this kind of pic
So far we got Chariot, Woodfucker and explosion from leyline pictures and Croix, cubes, Vajaroi (that princess from Samhain) and fairy riot from ep11 visions.
I'm surprised they didn't add green disease to any of visions.
I don't understand why Ursula isn't warning Akko. She realized Croix is dangerous and confronted her in that earlier episode, but she still hasn't told Akko anything, despite her already being abducted by Croix. She just watches how Akko keep trusting her without doing anything until it's too late.
They think she's cheating when she solves things smoothly.
And they think she's retarded when she can't.
A.K.A. Don't argue with Akko haters, just enjoy her getting the MC spotlight all the time while them whining every thread.
I think it's for the best that way, even if I'd like to see them get a happy ending together
There is plenty of room for both
I don't like full on smut like that, either way, though
Akko and Diana fall into Arcturus Forest in episode 19's ending and get shown Croix and Chariot's past in visions in 20. Or maybe they show Chariot and Croix's past in flashes while Akko and Diana become friends/partners/nakama/whatever. You lack imagination. The Akko/Diana Chariot/Croix thing pretty much means we're getting the flashback.
Same here, I don't really know what I expected from the link.
I don't think we'll get any Chariot backstory until after we get the Diana and Cavendish thing out of the way.
The Diana thing involves the word "tradition" but I think Chariot's backstory will be tied to the word "gratitude."
I can agree with that.
Don't post that too often.
Well one of them is not only charismatic, cute and likeable, but also one of the most decently written characters in this show so far.
Is this how women view Kamina?
As we get older, so do our preferences.
She's definitely the central character in this, but I also find it ok that not everything is revolving around her. They have been usong her spotlight wisely.
Besides, Amanda and the other two really needed these episodes.
She is the best girl with the best assets
Yes they did. They really ought to have been earlier in the show, though.
Just because you don't like these characters doesn't mean they should be brushed aside rather than given an opportunity to win you over.
>most attractive character
>neverending aura of badassery
>gets to get with the other most attractive character on the show
>dies a heroic death soon after
>leaves behind a legacy of even more badassery
I think it's pretty obvious they're all going to have to work together to unlock the grand triskellion in the end.
It was sealed by 9 witches and it will be unlocked by 9 witches.
The differences between both characters are many, though.
When will be the episode of the fat witch? I don't even remember her name, she has almost as much presence as Lotte.
I kinda felt that hug.
Also CHARIOT IS NOT GOING TO DIE, YOU BASTARD.
They don't. Us giving them unofficial names has no bearing on their importance/unimportance to the plot.
Amanda's team have official names, full names, and have had them for over two years. They are not background characters, and should by all rights have an at least somewhat significant, though not necessarily major, role in the show.
Which they do, and background characters don't.
BG witches could have internal names that we don't know about and won't know about until Tattun can approve that art book thing. And speaking of, anyone have the most final version of the name chart?
>nyaa is down
>EP 17 torrent taking two hours instead of 5 min
Yeah, both characters are different.
Kamina never had some kind of development, what we had was an insight of his character that prevented him to become a one-dimentional element.
>I think it's pretty obvious they're all going to have to work together to unlock the grand triskellion in the end.
>It was sealed by 9 witches and it will be unlocked by 9 witches.
This. Akko will need all these bitches for the last word and the Triskellion activation. That's why we get these episodes now.
LWA is a het show more than Yuri tho
WHy is she so perfect?
I know, but that doesn't change my personal preference and hence my disappointment when I saw that picture.
But live and let live I guess.
She knew what she was getting herself into when she dyed her hair blue.
There is worse.
Only of you are a little witch as well.
i prefer big witches
>gets with the most attractive character
Andrew is like 10 years or more younger than her... don't tell me she's into 'that.'
Well I guess she is... But will Andrew now run for President of France?
Yo I mentioned this during the faerie strike but Constanze's magitek has emotion whereas Lotte was disturbed by the emotionless roblox-Goblin thing that turned out to have been made by Croix.
Then sure enough it turns out Croix's SSS has everything to do with draining emotion and transmuting it. I don't think Constanze is down for that she just wants dancing robots, man.
I have this, which is mostly complete.
Why aren't we talking about grumpy loli Constanze?
Elf is friendly and kind!
hugsher should be rewarded!
>Constanze Braunschbank Albrechtsbeger
Isn't it "Constanze Amalie von Braunschbank-Albrechtsberger"? That's what it is on the site. Why would they have made her name even longer on the site for the show if they're not going to make use of it in the show? Even if her middle name (Amalie) wasn't included on the permit, the "von" should still be there, and they even missed an r in "Albrechtsberger".
This production is an utter shambles when it comes to details like this. You wouldn't think it was this difficult...
>But we don't know her name yet so it's the only way to call her
She's the tall red-head girl. She doesn't need a name or to be an elf for you to know who I'm talking about when I say that.
Quick question: Is
Ursula being Chariotconsidered a spoiler? A friend of mine is three episodes into the show and asked me if they are the same person, and now I don't know if I should tell her or let her find out on her own.
What do you think?
10 second scene of Croix eating ramen and saying "experiment going well".
10 second scene of Diana receiving a call from her house; we don't get to listen what the call says but her face suddenly becomes all worried and shocked.
We see the back of Diana standing in front of her desk.
And cuts to ED when we hear her starting to weep
>but her face suddenly becomes all worried and shocked
But I don't like that!
Last time Akko, Sucy and Lotte were lucky they all end up together in the forest, but it would be safer if they were using the ship instead of flying separately on their brooms.
I dunno, according to the foreshadowing vision from episode 11 a tower that looks like it's in Arcturus should be coming next. I could see that being part of the Diana stuff in episode 20. I think the ship will be relevant in its mecha incarnation to fight against Croix' cube monsters rather than as transport.
You have a surprisingly low standard for what counts as tall.
Hasn't watched the OVA, but the comparison to Akko is still not far off.
Nah, I'm probably meant to tell her if I know it, otherwise she wouldn't have asked. I should have come to that conclusion sooner.
I asked her and she says
only if you're a girl and look like Sucy.
>looks like it's in Arcturus
But it's not confirmed it's Acturus.
>I could see that being part of the Diana stuff in episode 20
I doubt it. The foreshadowing suggests Akko's gonna get involved with the Cavendish situation and learn the value of tradition through that experience.
Depending on what the drama with Diana is, she could go to the Cavendish household in 19 and then something happens that forces them to run away. I guess we should know more when the episode summary goes up on Monday unless the episode summary just says "Diana sad. Akko might consider Diana her rival but feels odd about it. Akko tries to figure out why Diana sad. The reason Diana sad is...?!"
>One week until Diana episode
I dont think i can wait that long
Will we ever get an episode without Akko?
You should look up to Mary the pure.
Akko will sacrifice herself to become a concept, forfeiting her existence as a mortal girl to become the essence of magic in a newly-rewritten universe. Diana will make it her mission to find a way to undo Akko's sacrifice and restore her yay
Episode where Akko travels back in time and meets young Chariot and Croix when
Wait a minute that haircut...
>Croix kills Akko so that she wouldn't share Chariot
It would be the whole episode; every character Akko influenced thinks back to Akko and they all join together to bring her back. Even when Akko comes back we don't see her, the camera focuses on the happy faces of everyone else.
>Akko fucks up the timeline and accidentally makes it so Chariot never became Shiny Chariot
>Is only able to survive not losing memories or erasure because of the Shiny Rod from her original timeline
I kinda want they make a connection with the OVA's somehow.
There's nothing impure about accepting the love of the holy spirit into your
Doesn't sound canon. Nice numerals, though.
Where is the Croix and Diana art?
They are tumblr-tier witches.
Oh, shit, I thought that whole sequence was just an Utena reference. They threw in a Thundercats reference too.
I really liked this last episode. I was worried that the staff forgot about Amanda.
Probably because she's not a slut.
That works really well, I agree, but it's still a bit too "spares" for me sometimes.
I just go all the way and pair red team with itself to avoid trouble.
You cannot be more wrong, even if you actually tried.
>acting like you haven't seen this scenario before
>tfw your C average student is the chosen one so you have to pick up the slack
Connie's seiyuu will get paid ¥0 for her own character's episode.
I wonder what the audition was like.
Yet she's supportive, diligently notice and appreciates Akko's progress. She knows she a muggle trying to become a witch, so her being pissed or jaded about Akko being able to use the rod is ridiculous.
Assuming everything works out in the end, we get an open ended ending and no one dies, what do you want to see in a "Year 2" of LWA?
Nobody said she was pissed or jaded. Just that she probably wouldn't be going out of her way to be Akko's tutor and mentor if she was just a random dumb failure witch instead of a random dumb failure witch chosen by the Shiny Rod. She might end up stuck with the tutoring position by order of the senior teachers though. Or rather Akko would probably have been expelled by now.
>Just that she probably wouldn't be going out of her way to be Akko's tutor and mentor if she was just a random dumb failure witch instead of a random dumb failure witch chosen by the Shiny Rod.
Wrong, ever since she arrived Akko openly stated her love for Chariot, even if the rod didn't chose her, she would have still taken a liking for her for that.
And by the way, it was Ursula's idea to start tutoring Akko, not even the seniors were planning anything special for her.
To show unintended consequences, for example dangerous creatures hibernating because of the lack of magic they have awakened again, opportunistic witches take advantage of the instability to become warlords, spread of forbidden rites that are used by tyrants and spirits of past milleniums force populations to obeying outdated traditions with the penalty of being cursed. Basically they are forced to accept responsibility for world change and should try to find solutions to those problems.
>Focus more on magic and adventure and less on the school itself
>Let Akko grow as a witch and as a person
>Expand on the characters' backgrounds and personalities a bit more
>Diana going back to being a smug turbobitch instead of a regular, passive-aggressive bitch.
>A solid B-Team episode; Akko and friends are secondaries. (We nearly got this already)
>A "meet the parents" episode where we see everyone's families, especially Sucy's Mom and Dad.
This is where we find out Amanda is an orphan.
She saw it.
Rewatch the fucking episode 2, you mongoloid, the only intance any of the other teachers demand results from Ursula's turoring is in episode 7 and by fucking Finneran.
Ursula went out of her way to tutor Akko in the first place and before all of it.
I think the scene he's talking about is in episode 4. It's wrong to bring it up though. Yes they did tell Ursula to do it, but it was less tutoring than it was a glorified detention, and it wasn't just for Akko, but all three of them. It's unrelated to Ursula being Akko's tutor.
