Sodachi is semi-reliant on hating him though. She says it once or twice that it's all she has left, Araragi accepted that role too.

The relationship depicted in Musubi is about as "good" as it could get I think. It's not even a bad one really, it's more that both of them will deny it being a good relationship. They basically have a sibling relationship now (in the normal sense I mean, not what Araragi has with Karen)

We had an entire arc in Owari about their date. Even there the Ougi stuff simply overshadowed it. I think it's less memorable partly because Araragi frankly is at his dumbest as a character around Gahara, since she's supposed to be a guiding force for him but also pretty normal she says a bunch of shit that he's amazed by that he didn't seem unaware of beforehand a lot of the time.

I honestly think the only think that stopped him was him not knowing/realising that the house he was meeting Sodachi at was her house and not some secret abandoned hideout. He took no steps to solve the situation because he didn't know that there was a situation there. Sodachi not talking about anything unrelated to Maths didn't help him either in that regard (not trying to blame her here, I get that she had her reasons for staying silent). She basically ended up being a selfless math fairy that he wasn't sure how to be nice to (it was implied that he may have had a kid crush on her at the time, obviously that's long gone now though)

Sodachi's arc isn't about Sodachi but about the concept of a white knight saving the day.

It depends on your standards for crazy I guess. Sodachi held an entire classroom hostage because of a abnormal deviation in the class grades. And because one girl didn't want to talk to her, she ended up physically threatening innocent people, invading private property, stealing and blackmailing. She even threatened to kill herself and lived as a homeless because of a couples fight. According to Nadeko she is an oddity that protects her sanity by purposely triggering bad things against herself.

But besides that she is still managed to survive by herself since 12 years old without any parents or money, was one of the top students of an elite school, graduated in a good college, got a stable job dealing with other people perfectly well and bought a house.
