Any revolutionaries here? I want to kick your asses.
Oda is a hack. Sabo and none of the revolutionaries' haki noticed Jesus on their ship when the revolutionaries should be experts at sensing enemies
Meanwhile, a bloody, injured fatty, smelly heavy piece of shit like Jesus remained undetected for days by Sabo.
Sabo burned Jesus pretty badly too. The smell of burnt clothes, burnt skin, and burnt hair should have been strong enough for Sabo to notice.
Because he's a shit-tier DeviantArt OC character complete with a backstory that reads like someone's autistic fanfic trying to shoehorn him into a close relationship with the protagonist.
To this day I have deep suspicions that Oda was bribed to create Sabo.
>I have deep suspicions that Oda was bribed to create Sabo.
That's the reason you believe
>Because he's a shit-tier DeviantArt OC character complete with a backstory that reads like someone's autistic fanfic trying to shoehorn him into a close relationship with the protagonist.
Not the other way around.
>Hey you look like that old gux back at Marineford.
Weevil starts crying, and speaking about he want take revenge on BB.
His mother says
>no, you must hunt down the WB pirates
Luffy punches the old hag and speak to Weevil
>Listen, they are your family too, they feel the same as you.
>Come with me, I'll take you to Blackbeard.
My only problem with Sabo, he's still alive.
It would be good if the brothers only carry his wish and fullfill his dream.
Ace did, even he got rekt, he said he didn't regret anything.
An now Luffy could carry on his two brothers' will.
it's the logical conclusion to his character only strengthened by how he later shows up in Dressrosa to do basically nothing but eat Ace's fruit.
The only hole in the theory is that the flame's weren't blue/black or some other faggot color to "differentiate" the OC while essentially being exactly the same.
slamming people into the ground like the motherfuckers they are
ODA, ¿DÓNDE ESTÁ MI NIGGA ZORO?
The problem with Sabo is the following.
If he was already planned (look at Ace's tattoo), he should be mentioned when Ace and Luffy met at Arabasta.
Somthing like this: Oi Luffy, we are here, just like we promised to HIM.
This little foreshadow would be good.
Being powerful or influential has nothing to do with actually being a crybaby. He's been portrayed as physically not that powerful (compared to New World fags at least), relying on threats, human shields and machinary (which is cool as he's the scientist behind them).
Vinsmokes are only WG's toy/tools.
They have bad reputation and feared because of the comics propaganda.
And they are stron enough to involve into random wars on which WG doesn't give a shit, and settle things down.
So WG doesn't need to send Marine, Cipher Pol or other squads to those places, and they can focus on more important things.
And Judge can be value in science too.
In excange they are acknowledged as kingdom, can take minor requests (just like Sanji's poster).
All of this lead Judge into the delusion, he is important and can do anything.
Biggest News in the series was when Ace was revealed to be Rogers son. There's literally a guy screaming Big News. I thought it was Morgans, but it turned out to be some random news guy when I checked yesterday.
Isn't it our boy's birthday today? Wish him a Happy Birthday guys.
How will the fights go?
>Luffy vs Blackbeard
>Zoro vs Shiliew
>Nami vs Laffitte
>Usopp vs Van Augur
>Sanji vs Burgess
>Chopper vs Doc Q
>Robin vs Sanjuan Wolf
>Franky vs Avalo Pizarro
>Brook vs Catarina Devon
>Jinbe vs Vasco Shot
>??? vs ???
guess who's gonna light up the candles on the birthday cake
If he's lighting them up then that means they've become friends and Akainu is celebrating his birthday insted of punching a hole through the cake.
Based Luffy does it again!
Yeah, Oda should have given a little foreshadow about Sabo's existence before Luffy's flashback.
And Sabo's surviving the incident and was saved by Dragon should be given more foreshadows too. Especially since Robin must have met Sabo in the timeskip but we get nothing about it at all.
The earliest and subtle foreshadow about Sabo surviving the incident was pic related.
From this page alone we can get that:
1. Dragon brought severely injured Sabo to his ship
2. Emporio Ivankov's existence is hinted and first appearance of Dragon's ship
3. A connection between Zoro's dojo and the revolutionaries (this maybe important to Wano arc since it's about overthrowing the Shogun and all)
That's a lot of important informations from a single page.
forgot pic, silly me
Usopp and van augur will be sniping at each other across the ocean from two different islands.
Out of all the characters in one piece I find bb's original crew members to be the most eerie and ominous
it'd be more fitting for ace/sabo than for akainu, but it's still sort of cool.
admiral banter is a lot better though
Also, I'm the only one to be sad because some of Big Mom crewmate DF look cool but I know they will be jober ? Like the Magic Lamp guy; it could be a awesome DF, but the guy will probably job to Sanjii or something like that.
Having Zoro show up and still asking where he is doesn't make much sense. I'm just a shitposter patiently waiting for Zoro time and the Strawhats to get back together.
Blackbeard is actually the worst character in the entire series.
>''look at me i'm such an asshole that likes to do evil things because uuhh... power! Yeah i want lots of power!''
He has literally zero characteristics outside that and his fat gut and black beard.
Still doesn't know why he didn't ask Thatch for that fruit. Maybe he would give it to him.
Yeah I know there was a rul, whoever gets a fruit he will eat it. But what if Thatch actually didn't want to eat that fruit?
Or even if he wanted, Teach could still tell him his story about how many years he waited for that damn fruit.
Nah. I can see Sabo do that cause he's meant to be the mature older brother. Luffy will only see red when he faces Sakazuki. Same with Teach. I really think those 2 will be the only people that Luffy just won't forgive.
>Mihawk is supposed to be the strongest swordsman
>He proceed to job to Shanks's wine, Jozu, Crocodile, Vista, to the hard farmer work even while being assisted by baboons and Perona
or better yet, luffy extends that hand and akainu makes a showing of accepting, then betrays at the last second in the name of absolute justice. and then begins Akainu Speech No. 2, goading luffy into fighting him, not portraying him as a true evil like blackbeard, but as someone who'd do anything for justice.
and i'm unsure whether it'd be better to have luffy fight him at that point or do something gOda.
Teach didn't anything wrong.
He even cheered Luffy, he will save his brother.
Which actually was true, but that moron Ace just made kill himself after everything was already settled.
>he's meant to be the mature older brother
He's only mature relative to Luffy, and while he probably hates Skazuki less than Teach it wouldn't be by much
Akainu is a Marine and having him as an enemy is just part of every pirates life, Akainu trying to kill him is unpleasant but you expect and accept it
Teach was his own crew and betrayed him and without his betrayal everything would be fine for Ace
Okay? And Luffy will just completely forgive Teach because he said One Piece is out there? Fuck no. He'll be pissed because as far as Luffy is concerned Teach defeated Ace and and got him into the situation where Akainu killed Ace. He obviously isn't gonna think about the dropped vivre card and how Ace went back to fight Akainu and all that shit. That doesn't matter to Luffy.
Don't get me wrong, I love Teach and I love all his interactions with Luffy. The guy genuinely respects Luffy and wants him to get good.
He taunted Luffy about Ace and was provoking him at Impel Down, he simply didn't care one way or the other beyond thinking Ace was wasting his time with Whitebeard and could have been a strong crewmate. He managed to cool down when Jinbe interfered and reminded him of the greater stakes at play.
The only thing they share is a belief in dreams many look down or scoff at. The two moments where this is touched upon pre-timeskip are two of the absolute greatest scenes in the series.
"You found Sky Island, didn't you?" Tingles the spine every time.
Hi minaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Did you miss me sweetie? Sorry, I was sick.
I'm here to remind you Sanji x Nami will be canon. Don't forget!
¿OROZ AGGIN IM ÁTSE EDNÓD? ,ADO
I am someone else. I do think he holds a grudge though. We saw that he clearly holds grudges like when we saw Crocodile again. Luffy almost never spoke about him after Alabasta but was VERY much against freeing him. And only did it for Ace.
I know Ace's stand was controversial but you have to have some perspective
Imagine if your father sacrificed himself, and as you were running away a person directly confronts you and calls your father a worthless coward. Is it juvenile? Is it a thinly veiled insult to try and turn the situation round? Clearly, but think of how high the emotions were at that exact moment. You're human and sometimes you can make very rash decisions in extreme circumstances.
Ace was Roger's kid. If Roger didn't also have that seemingly suicidal tenacity and unrelenting loyalty to people he cared about then he wouldn't have become Pirate King. It's a defining trait that can lead to incredible things or an untimely demise, as in Ace's case. If Ace didn't have that he wouldn't have gotten that far in the first place.
If you want to look at it purely logically then fine, but if you want to judge every person solely based on that you're going to condemn almost everyone including Luffy. Luffy is also prone to extreme rashness is he not? Just look at his promise to Sanji recently.
I got the implication that Blackbeard was giving those DF powers to his crew, since Laffite seems to be the only that had any. It's why Burguess went to Dresrossa for the Flame Flame Fruit.
I stopped reading OP around about the Gladiator/Coloseum arc. It just wasn't deivering much after how good the Marineford arc was.
Should I bother catching up? I remmeber seeing some threads about a Donflamingo fight being good, but apart from that, I'm like 2 years behind.
Is it still a super special manga worth catching up with?
Zou (right after Dressrosa) was a fun, short arc.
The current arc is already in its climax and it's being quite fun desu, the most fun since the timeskip happened. Very nice enemy designs for the most part too, as well as a cool looking setting.
Now, don't expect many big fights.
>He taunted Luffy about Ace and was provoking him at Impel Down
Nope when Luffy was talking about saving Ace adn Teach said "Well i guess nothing is impossible" he was serious.
>WAAAAAAA MY DAD WAS THE PIRATE KING IM SO WORTHLESS
why do nips like this faggot so much
Yeah, I'm not exactly in OP for the fights. I like the OTT characters and pretty unique character designs.
Like I said, Marineford was SO incredible, I just felt it was lacking a little after it. Fishman island arc was ok, but a bit slow.
Think I'll pick it back up. I reckon I can catch up this weekend if I read it nonstop
Opɐ` ʍɥǝɹǝ,s ɯʎ uıƃƃɐ Zoɹo¿
I'm honestly as excited as I've ever been waiting for the weekly releases after quite a few years where I didn't care much (to the point of waiting weeks for Dressrosa to advance further).
The current arc is not the most mindblowing thing ever and certainly isn't perfect, but it's so much fun so far, the climax is pretty fucking crazy and, above all, I feel that I can't really predict what's going to happen in future chapters, let alone the whole arc.
Dressrosa is also much better when read in a go instead of waiting weeks for chapters. Sure, it's still far from being as good as it probably should have been, but it's alright, I guess.
He taunted him and wasn't "cheering" him, I don't know how you can deny that
Go look at it again, he's purposely eggs him on. He had no intent to stop Luffy from trying to save Ace and might have been impressed if he did but that doesn't change that he ultimately didn't care much and was trying to get a rise out Luffy more than anything.
Last time we "saw" Blackbeard was when Luffy met Burgess in the back stage of the coliseum, through a den den mushi.
Later on we saw Shiryu and Laffite talking to Burgess about him being in Baltigo and the news said that the man himself went there to wreck shit and have a little clash with CP0 while at it
Shanks' crew was featured in the ending of last cover story, they were in a wedding in some unknown ruins.
That's about it, I guess. Not that much, to be honest. They may shine brighter after we are done with Mama and Kaido maybe?
That's cool. I think BB is such an interesting villain, he's really got a good character. >>156795384
I look forward to reading this weekend. Cheers for the recommendations lads, I appreciate it!
>tfw One Piece will run for at the very least another decade
When you're done check out the soundtrack for Dressrosa. It's actually really, really good. And if you don't jnow much about what happened since you stopped reading,
keep an eye out for Chaoter 783 and 795. My dick exploded.
Not sure how to feel about this. A part of me wants it the end asap cuz im courious about the endgame but on the other hand i can't get enough of it so i want it to go on like forever.
I honestly just want to live long enough to see the end of One Piece and
Kingdom Hearts IIIand I think I'm pretty much ready to check out of life after that, but we'll have to see
You literally said cheering
Also, what is does qualifies as taunting. Was he telling being honest with Luffy? Yes.
but he still smiled as he told Luffy that he should be thankful for his brother's interference since he would be dying that day, not Ace. That isn't something you do unless you're being an asshole.
that second sentence was a mess, point still stands though
me and >>156793907 are not the same fag.
>that he should be thankful for his brother's interference since he would be dying that day, not Ace
Again he was telling the truth. Taunting would be like "ZEHAHAHAHA YOUR BROTHER IS A WEAKLING LIKE YOU"
What everyone expected
> I anticipated Big Mom's betrayal from the start
> INITIATE COUNTERATTACK
What I got
> *cries* SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE ME
>And Sabo's surviving the incident and was saved by Dragon should be given more foreshadows too
No, you just shouldn't be that retarded. We all knew he was alive and were waiting for him. Oda even had to go say he was dead in data book to fool people.
Burgess was taunting him for sure but Teach was actually happy to hear that Luffy is fine and kicking and fucking shit up in the NW. He is a man of romance so he would rather have his "final" fight against someone with ambition instead of a big suicidal crybaby like the Kaido.
Vinsmoke, given that the focus is on rescuing Sanji and going to Wano i already expected BM's crew to job to a certain extent so that we would have a proper fight against BM in another arc and that the Vinsmokes would be the main villains of this one, but it ended up that the Vinsmokes did absolutely nothing and are going to be rescued because Oda still doesn't like killing characters
This whole arc would be better without the Vinsmokes. Like if Sanji only had a father and no siblings and that father had forced him to this and abused him as a child alone. So if he died or not, no one would care. It would be a little plot line to expand on Sanji's character and not some major shit taking up so much of the arc and then being worthless.
This was honestly a real disappointment. It wouldn't had been THAT bad if he acknowledged that betrayal was a possibility, but he still went with it out of sheer desperation for an ally to retake all of north blue.
Now that the dust has settled, was he
Pretty easy to see he wants to destroy the WG which defeated the D's and fulfill the dream of some ancient D.
I think when he says a man's dream will never die he's referring to a specific D's dream which has been carried since at least the void century.
I'm not sure how you could not think this desu senpai.
but he didn't seem to have a wife or girlfriend.
>and still fucked up many people
>Jobs to Squard
Oh yeah, what a not-cuck.
>Doesn't think he can have kids
>Calls his crew his kids
None of his "sons" are related to him, and the only person with his surname is some retard who probably isn't his son.
Top tier shitposting have a (you) amigo
he was never involved with any of those women to our knowledge, we have no clue if he has biological sons and most importantly, his crew were an army of hundreds/thousands (in the alliance) who loved him and were willing to die for him to kill and crush his enemies
also he died standing and never ran away
sounds pretty antithetical to being a cuck
It was though, look how much trouble Roger's son caused.
Too bad Ace was too much of a dipshit to join the Warlords but double deal with Whitebeard like Doflamingo was doing with Kaido.
So, now that the dust has settled,
was he really the third-strongest Warlord, not counting Jobbeard?
>What's his endgame?
What's (((their))) endgame?
I just want to know what's so special about this faggot already. Weird how I don't really care about the void century or Vegapunk or whatever but Blackbeard's mistery keeps punching my brain. And it feels like it's the last reveal this manga will have. Can't he appear after WCI at the reverie and reveal his stuff?
I can dream.
I don't think he's pretending to be multiple people. He's no SaNafag. Most of our shitposters take pride in their dedication, and expect people to recognize them as one person.
>inbreeding must be rampant in the world nobel society
It's not like they'd breed with a plebeian if they even refuse to breathe the same air, is it?
And they look inbred, too.
>multiple wives who were commoners
Sounds more like "slaves" to me. Either way, it wouldn't be surprising to me in the least if the Tenryuubito were hypocrites like that.
>We don't now what's the status of kids from marriages like this.
We only really know about Doffy whose father renounced his status, but bastards would be a different thing altogether.
>there will never be an arc as good as Skypiea ever again
>oh my mantra extends to the entire island but because they were inside this snake i couldn't detect them lol
He literally called them wives. After meeting that one girl in Sabaody, he ordered some of his other wives to be returned to the commoner status, implying they aren't slaves exactly.
You're right. My bad.
Depending on the explanation, likely not. We've Zoro and Luffy recognizng "them" in Jaya, and Ace's statement about BB's living "twice the life of his" which can be interpreted in weird fashion.
Well just look at Ussop, he his a liar and a coward, but not a civilian mass murderer, he still have one of the highest bounty of the crew. Don't forget that the GW consider anyone that don't take his bullshit as a outlaw/pirate.
My theory is that his fruit power is basically nothingness. So it counts as nothing. It's like a null fruit. Maybe thats why he wanted it so badly cause he can have 2 with it.
He wanted a family, so his nurses were either wives or daughters
>Are we ever going to get an expiaination for why his meds have the SMILE logo
No, besides Doflamingo/Caesar flaunting the law and dealing with the Yonko and Black Market.
Marineford is kind of a bad first act climax.
>No woman in his crew
He was smart enough to trick the marine by coating his 4 ships (including the spare one) and surfacing right inside Marineford's bay, of course he must have left his nurses on some islands under his protection.
Though he was also kind of stupid by letting Squardo stabs him, though it was not his fault.
Oh so WB was pretty much already dead when he arrived from tearing off his medical shit.
All the more reason Ace is such shit. WB gave his life to get him free and Ace just gets baited by Akainu and dies
I can't believe he is popular in Japan.
Well, Luffy would be Brazilian in our world. Are they spics?
I really don't know I'm European. My countries One Piece is translated from English and it states that Brook would be Australian instead of Austrian because our translator is dyslexic
>WB knowingly goes on a suicide mission
>Garp puts his career on the line by letting Luffy beat him
>Little Oars and hundred of fodders give their lives
>All his friends are beaten up and bloodied
>Luffy gives his absolute all and sacrifices years of his life to keep fighting
>Takes hits from admirals and fleet admirals to reach him
>After all of this they barely manage to free Ace
>What the fuck did you say about my daddy?
The plan was for Ace or Marco to take over after returning to the NW. Whitebeard went on and on about the new generation.
This rabbit is cute in the same way a puppy is cute.
She is not for lewd!
Best pairing! Incredible chemistry in the manga and great doujins!
What is your favorite theory?
I bet Blackbeard already knows the Void Century details.
I'd really like Usopp vs Van Augur to be as the SHs come up to the island, where Usopp has to both counteract the projectiles fired by Van Augur and attack him back.
X Drake in general
Jewelry Bonney's relation to Whitebeard
Whoever told Doflamingo to take out Moria
Three ancient weapons
Will of D
Weevil's relation to Whitebeard
Ivankov's dirt on Crocodile
Fate of the remainder of the Whitebeard Pirates
How Blackbeard has more than one power
>Whoever told Doflamingo to take out Moria
It's not really a mystery. It could only really be Kong or the Gorosei.
>Three ancient weapons
We know what Pluton and Poseidon are.
We've seen it.
>Fate of the remainder of the Whitebeard Pirates
Btfo either by Blackbeard or Weevil, scattered throughout the New World.
99% certain to be Shanks.
>Bonney sails in a cake ship
>Bonney's power revolves around lifeforce
>Bonney wears the same make-up as Mom
>Her Crewmate wears a shirt saying "Great Mam"
There is clearly a connection of some sort.
>The plan was for Ace or Marco to take over after returning to the NW.
And then Ace happened, Teach becoming a Yonkoy happened, Marco being a hothead happened. Poor WB look at what his crew has become
>Did he have any family?
>We know what Pluton and Poseidon are.
Just because we know what two of them are doesn't mean there are no mysteries surrounding them. When was Pluton built? Was it for any specific purpose? And we only know it's a battleship, no details.
>It's not really a mystery. It could only really be Kong or the Gorosei.
Didn't Doffy say it was higher than the Gorosei?
>We know what Pluton and Poseidon are.
We don't know what Pluton looks like or where it is or what it's role will eventually be
>We've seen it.
No, we've seen a part of it, his father was mentioned to be a pirate, which means there's more to it
Brook is many years old, he was already well aged while in his pirate crew, not to mention a master of many instruments, there's much more to be told for his story
>Fate of the remainder of the Whitebeard Pirates
>Btfo either by Blackbeard or Weevil, scattered throughout the New World.
Yeah, but we don't know where they are or who's still alive
>99% certain to be Shanks.
Yeah, but there's still that 1%
Perona wears the same makeup, has pink hair, and controls familiars, does that mean she has a connection with Big Mom?
>told for years Sanji will always be a worthless one trick gag character
>goddamn genetically altered criminal prince
Tonight's dish is flavored with the tears of BTFO Zoro fans.
For anyone that doesn't know/remember, this was Bonney's reaction after Marineford. She seem mighty pissed at Blackbeard.
A lot of foreshadowing going on with her.
>Original run - July 19, 1997 – present
Its crazy to think I was 4 years old when OP started. Although I assume most of us outside of Nippon started following when we were in our early teens. I haven't really met many "young" OP fans. Most have been following it for a long time. Wonder why that is?
>he wasn't altered in anyway
Incoming Sanji butthurt.
I bet you just roll your eyes and sigh instead of waving your arms around like Apoo when Oda reveals what Sanji's genetic alteration did improve.
It says "great man"
Does anyone here play Treasure Cruise? The 3rd Anniversary event is crazy good. They're giving away a free 6* character and 10 gems to everyone who plays so its a good time to start. You also get tons of exp right now so its easy to level up.
And she doesn't look like on of the Charlotte's as a kid, she looks less well-off.
It's daunting for new fans to get into because of the length and lack of things you can just skip. Also, the art style is a throwback to Dragon Ball and doesn't fit with modern styles, so a lot of people just can't get past the cartoonish appearance.
The biggest obstacle to American fans was the 4kids dub. The only people who got curious and found the manga after seeing it on Cartoon Network back then were mostly older teens and young adults who smoked weed, since that was pretty much the only way to make it through an episode of that shit. With the uncensored Funimation dub now on revived Toonami, American interest is growing.
>does mediocre in all of his fights
>got a kick on Doffy that almost screwed his leg and then bailed to not be seen for a year+
>completely gives himself up, gets bullied by his family again, is made a sacrificial lamb by a two-faced bitch of a yonkou
>beats up luffy to come crawling back like 2 or 3 other SHs at this point
>is riiiiiight about to finally have a moment that will make him worth a damn again
I kind of hope Brook will steal the spotlight somehow, just because he's been constantly doing that this arc.
I would play it if it wasn't the same shitty type of game as the [INSERT POPULAR ANIME HERE] Online or that shitty mobile Naruto game.
Why couldn't it have been like Brave Souls, or at least Dokkan?
Sanji isn't being a pussy to the Japanese audience. He's dutifully fulfilling familial obligations.
I'm guessing no one here knows it since this is a predominantly male Westerner site, but fujos have been checking into Japanese hospitals with dehydration during this arc over Sanji because of all the juice they're leaking.
>He's dutifully fulfilling familial obligations.
You have a duty to your family even if they abandoned you so hard they literally faked your death twice?
Thousand Storm looks different, is it any good?
>reading colored manga
>Not reading the colored version for pre TS Nami(especially W7)
It's pretty decent. You don't have to gamble for characters since you get coins from missions to unlock them. You gamble collecting "scenes" from the series to power up your characters or give them new attacks/power up current ones and it's really easy to get great ones since friend points are always useful to use and you can multipull and get an extra card. The next character event is gonna be timeskip Luffy and Brook So it'll be a good time to get one of the best characters
I will never understand why some of you autists complain about people reading the coloured version of the manga.
Oda could at least have drawn the Nurses watching the TV that was showing the Marineford War and Whitebeard's death.
Instead, we get panels of fucking Fodder on Shabody watching the big screen.
