PONY IS CUTE
When is he coming in, Hori?
As i said in the last thread:
It's a spin off of class B in a "daily lives of high shool boys" way (comedy shorts) the only way to save this doomed tean of heroes? And give Itsuka, Monoma, Tetsux4 and Femjesus the spotlight they deserve? I mean, that way they few appearences on the main manga could be more appealing because let's face it, class A, and even not all the class, are the only ones that have enough pages/screen time.
>has never won a solo fight without help or nearly incapacitating himself
>literally just a strength quirk with little avenue for modifications
His quirk is shit and the only reason people like him is because LE MADMAN meme
Do scales fall under the umbrella of Hardening quirks? Because that would make Hardening (Kirishima/Tetsutetsu/Run) and Size Shifting (Mt. Lady, Itsuka, Yui) some of the most common types of quirks.
>his is straight forward and boring.
>gravity girl can get you out of under a building by just touching it
>tail man puts his tail between his legs and cry for help
it is undeniablethe shittiest quirk in the series, it is likeif fumikage's quirk was having a bird head
IMO. Yaoyorozu just has infinite potential if you ask me.
Hagakure's fucking bod.
Hopefully this year but most likely next year.
Also fuck Mineta
>Aizawa must have him on some monster curriculum
Given Mindfuck's ability, he's definitely got the best mentor since Aizawa's quirk is of a similar caliber (only works on certain types of quirks, easily countered if you rob him of line of sight).
What Mindfuck needs to be an effective hero is the means to take down people without his quirk and focus on misdirection and hiding his true ability for as long as possible. An ambush type hero is ideal given his ability.
Have a reason to write the main class out for a few months of publishing time. Focus switches to the second class in this period for a stand alone story arc with its own villain. Give the core members of the class the spotlight (So Ibara, Tetsu*4, Itsuka, I guess Neito, and a fifth to fill a personality archetype missing in that line-up) while giving all the others at least one defining moment each.
I wonder if, once Aizawa teaches him more about hand-to-hand combat, Shinsou will be able to force people to verbally respond to him. Like imagine if he said something to someone, punched them in the gut, and they went "Augh!" in pain, but that "Augh!" technically counts as a verbal response. I doubt that's exactly what would happen, but that would be kind of cool.
Exactly. I wonder if grunts of pain after getting hit would be some sort of loophole that Shinsou could exploit? Imagine fighting a friggin' ninja and knowing that if you make a single sound, the fight will be over.
He just had very little time with it, while most people have a life time, but it is definitely OP seeing how AM became the number one hero by a gigantic margin.
Sorry if you were trolling and I ruined it for you, I am autistic like that and need to explain stuff when I think people are not getting it.
I can picture some silly shit Shinsou could pull off if his quirk doesn't require face to face contact.
That'll be the case. And while it's not as easy to cast as Aizawa's quirk, it is a lot more versatile in the case of info gathering.
Shinsou is lucky to have a certain niche while 90% of these fucks are going to be generic nobody heroes that are overshadowed by people with better versions of their quirk (sugar vs deku, yaoi hands vs mt lady is a good example)
>someone saved your shitty edit from the wiki
Hori keeps skipping his fights for some reason, but he also has him consistently do well on every test. He's definitely presented as strong, so I wonder if he's being saved for something.
That'd be cool.
I hope the overhaul thing is drawn out over this year and a little of next so that we have good school chapters and arcs in between them. I dont want a 20 chapter rush.
Still wondering how solid air is useful as a pro-hero. This guy is sidekicked to hell.
He might be able to shape his air walls and reinforce their strength through quirk extension, making him sort of like Green Lantern.
And of course, be able to create larger ones with increased lung capacity.
>This guy is sidekicked to hell.
I don't see how the hero industry has held out this long. There are hundreds if not thousands of new heroes graduating every year, and that's in addition to regular cops. It must be hard as hell to even find a good sidekick position for a student from one of the less popular schools.
Shinsou's whole career will probably be filled with ethically questionable situations. That kind of comes with the nature of his quirk.
But when you're talking about mind controlling a dude who blows his daughter to pieces everyday to make supersmack you probably don't care about ethics too much.
Hori definitely needs to bring Shinsou back one way or another. He just kind of got dropped despite all the buildup and having one of the most powerful quirks in the series. I could see someone in 1A getting killed off or crippled and Shinsou replacing them.
I assume there are multiple good hero schools. Assuming Osaka is Shiketsu, and we have UA in Tokyo, there are still a bunch of untapped Japanese cities who have students who cant really make the commute.
There has to be a lot of people who just dont make it in the industry and just get outshined by people with better versions of their quirk.
>Doesnt Iida's brother have like 90 sidekicks
Yes, ,Heroes seem to operate as their own firms. They have the big name and then the assistants. Depending on the individual the number of sidekicks varies, so while All Might has only 1, Endeavor has an entire office and so did Engenium.
What I like about this strength that I don't see in other cape comics, mostly because I don't read them, is that he and All Might punch and can move so hard, they send shockwaves and air force.
its too late for that anon and there are way more interesting characters to develop in Class A. what i really want to now is if hori is gonna shuffle the classes next year. i wouldnt mind if we got monoma, tetsu, kendo and ibara in exchange for icyhot, sadrock, sugarlips and grapes.
>Apparently she was but Hori switched her last minute. He mentions that her hair is a pain in the ass to draw in the same paragraph, so that probably has something to do with it.
When the traitor gets expelled, beaten up and arrested
There's a frame in the manga where he's talking to Mei, and she's shaking her head that everybody assumes is his asking her out.
I always figured he was tossing out an idea for a costume improvement that she disagreed with.
He has potencial.
The hero that sworns enemies with Disgusting city animals.
Rats, roaches, pidgeons.
He could probably beat overhaul like that. You know how he's afraid of germs.
He could also go full ANTAGONIZER.
>Deku did originally have a quirk, and at some point he is pitted against a villain who got said quirk from AfO
>Quirk is actually strong as fuck, Deku gets fucking MAD
How about it?
>that one doujin where izuku actually did have a quirk, but that quirk was a huge bitch hypnotizing cock and his mother rapes him as a child and he becomes traumatized and decides hes better off saying he is quirkless
Deku has probably made like a million plans how to use quirks, especially the one he theorized himself having (Pyrokinesis)
Thinking about it that way makes sense. Interesting! So the mind control, as it basically disabled Deku, activated all the remnants and memories of the past users, maybe?
You never know, I think Deku would've actually benefited more for having a more abstract quirk. You can't make too many madman-tier plans with OfA, he always needs other people to fill in.
Why do fiction authors always love the weirdo ("annoying") characters? Hori mentioned Mineta again in the author comments for this issue.
Not really judging Mineta here, more like commenting on how I've seen a lot of authors who love these kinds of characters.
Rocks could potentially be damaged by acid. See acid rain.
And Momo has any number of ways to deal with someone like him. She shouldn't be limited to solid objects or weapons - for example, she could throw cement or some other immobilizing agent at him and make it even harder to move. She really ought to get into engineering courses, because with practice she could effectively bring UA's R&D department with her and swap between gear on the fly.
Is there any point to superheroes if they aren't autistic?
I'm not sure if he raped her because it wan't really shown when he started to become an ass; however, I do agree that he should divorce w/ his wife instead of doing a "heroic" sacrifice.
So people stay away from his room
Seems to be a popular concept among shippers
They're supposed to be. There's nothing really to them- it's just fluff.
Bakugou and Kirishima's studying stuff seems to be shipbait for fujos because basically most of it would be considered a chaste date in Nipland- particularly the latter half. It also proves Bakugou is worst boy since he's a pepsi-liker.
And it shows, with Volumen 12 and 13 having less sale than other volumes. Hopefully the next Volumes will sale more, since this arc has been much better than the License arc. Hori HAS to put Unbreakable Kirishima as the cover of a Volume, it would be a waste not to
i liked this guy
So we're all in agreement Sir Nighteye is the traitor, right?
Kaminari down to great
uraraka to great
bakugo to god tier
momo to god tier
alien queen to ok tier
tsuyu to ok tier
Iida to great
Kirishima to great/god with recent development
Sero to great
Tail boy to ok
i want to see how she behaves normally
Kill most of them to develop one or two of the most popular.
>todo dady issues part 2 even afther deku de-chuni him during the sport festival
>inasa reason to hate todo is fucking retarded and the characther migth be a legit autist
>build hype for the figth with gang orka then zyke exam is over fuckers
>bakugou and todo failing the exam feels just like an excuse to not having them in the spot ligth
and that are my reasons i dont know about the other anons
tokiyami realy needs to pair up with invisible girl. her power is light refraction right? all she needs to do is reflect a bunch of light away from birb to control THE DARKNESS!
Well, at first, it looked good, but the pacing was seriously bad, for me. We had:
>Three chapters of Deku vs Camie
>One chapter of The Bakusquad vs Meatguy
>One chapter focused on Aoyama
But then it started to get worse:
>Once chapter of Ochako realizing her feelings for Deku
>Nearly four chapters of Todoroki and Inasa fighting like children
>One chapter of the results and Toga's revelation
>One chapter about Twice
>One chapter about All Might and OfA
>Four frickin chapters about Bakuogu's stupid inferiority complex
The new characters didn't really left an impact on the readers, I don't even know why Ms.Joke and her class were introduced, and the constant focus on both Todoroki and Bakugou really got on the nerves on people, since these two were already thought to take the spotlight of a lot of the manga
Who cares if he lost control of it? Deku loses control/has no control over OFA sometimes.
Neither of them can use them perfectly, but dark shadow is flexible and SUPER destructive.
how's he a nazi?
Reception of an arc has literally shit to do with volume sales (the reviews for both are within the same range as every volume anyways) and given how every volume after 9 has sold 10k less than the other it means literally nothing.
It's just a few retards, think the same people who complain that everyone OP arc isn't Marineford again. There was nothing bad about that arc and it was a necessary progression for the story to go.
Most of that isn't even within the same arc dumbass.
All that and he still took a popularity dive in the later poll because nothing's been done with him since.
>The License arc is considered to be since Chapter 98 to Chapter 121,
>The license arc begins before the exam starts and ends way after the exam is complete
Shit, it was only that long ago?
No idea why Tokoyami went that down then. Maybe because he hasnt had much screentime since then, Jap readers are forgetful, vain and arent too keen on his mutant look.
>Taking these shitty polls seriously after the fujo hijack
Chapter 120 was the results reveal, so it was after the licensing exam arc.
No way Iida and Jirou stays on the top 10 after this year. I'd like to say Urakaka and Asui would drop but they are getting focus, who knows.
I can see Eri going up cause cute loli. I think Eraserhead could eclipse Todoroki to 3.
If we assume a poll comes early 2018, late 2017 (we've had two poll one around chapter 60, the other 120) so 180. Iida drops out, maybe Eri gets in. Shinsou has untapped popularity I think. If he gets a couple of good chapters with Aizawa maybe him. I actually think Twice could get in.
Bakugou is truly a beast both in-universe and in real life.
Sports Festival: Says he'll win right off the bat, gets boo'd, and wins.
Popularity Poll: People shit-talk, and he wins.
Never change, Blasty McSplode. Never change.
>read forever ago
>forgot who wins
>see this post
His quirk is boring. It's interesting that I find it boring, since it's such a impactful quirk, but I am honestly more interested in others much more than his.
What I find interesting about this poll is how little changed for the 1 one. Only two characters dropped out, Kaminari and Tokoyami, and therefore only two characters got in, Jirou and Kirishima. The rest only swapped places, except Iida who stayed in the same place
Haikyuu is the only series I can say that for. I loathe Ochako in BnHA.
And I have to dislike Shinsou out of duty to shit all over Lelouch's shit taste in boys, the Rinfag piece of shit.
Why did you fail your license exam, you shithead?
I truly hate Tendou more than I hate any other character I've ever come across.
He didn't fail; he WAS failed. Asshat judges.
Because he wants to be a hero in order to beat up villains, not to rescue people.
The league of villains great failure was not seeing that all he wanted was to beat them up.
I like every character in this manga but shoto's my least favorite.
He should have swallowed his pride and helped people, instead he decided to be a little shit to elders who were slightly hurt and that lost him points. He has to work on his attitude. Hell, he didn't even helped them, Kirishima and Kaminari did
I don't 'dislike' her, I DETEST her. She's a vacuous character of dubious motivation who exists solely to fawn over Deku. She's got less depth than Hagakure, despite being shoved into the focus over and over again like we're supposed to give a shit about her.
It probably didn't help to act like an ass towards injured people. They were in a test that should be taken as a real scenario, so those two mildly injured persons would've been panicking--had they not be professionals--in a disaster. It would be stupid to not atleast calm them down.
As a proud Bakufag, I feel like this would be a fitting punishment for him in the long run. People don't seem to realize that Bakugou will suffer internally as long as he isn't number 1. Anything else might as well be a loss to him.
Yelling at people to take care of themselves isn't the right thing to do in emergency situations. I'm sure ER doctors and nurses would love to yell at people complaining about their hangnails, but they don't.
I agree that she's being flanderized atm, but to say that she didn't react and interact w/ other characters is wrong. She'll get plenty of paneltime anyway so I don't think being patient would net you any loss.
Here's the full pic with everyone and their cups of lean
This isn't rocket science, it's characterization 101. WHY is she there? If you take away her unholy adoration for her classmate, what is her motivation? Money. She is literally a prostitute looking for a payday. It's like a trainwreck made from the Pretty Woman plotline. It doesn't even matter that she has a useful Quirk, that's never the point of her. She's too busy being a cheerleader for a beta that she intimidates every time she addresses him with anything more than casual conversation. It's hard to get more one-dimensional than "poor girl from poor family looking for the MRS degree". If she doesn't turn out to be the traitor, it actually hurts her MORE because it robs her of desperately-needed volume to her otherwise flat existence.
Why the fuck is Bakugo so fucking popular?
It's criminal that toga is so high on this shit too, america is even mroe of waifufag shitters than japan.
At least Tokoyami is on this one
>I loathe Ochako in BnHA
Nigga how could you possibly hate this
Unironically porn/the fetish of a domineering girl fucking you.
The average BnHA fan in america is more of a neckbeard than in japan, thus appreciates jerk off material. BnHA its normie shit in Japan.
second season have being realy goat happy to see bones improving
