Growing older I find I now take my pace with shows if it is pretty long. I usually watch something like five or six episodes a day and I'm fine with that. When I was younger I could blast through an entire two cour in a day and a half. Is it just because I'm getting older or have I become fatigued with anime? When I first really got into One Piece a few years ago, I marathoned like 120 episodes over a weekend. I skipped the OP/ED and previous episode recap so each episode was really only about 18 minutes, but it was still like 40 hours of video watched in a 48 hour period.
After this I realized just how much filler bullshit is put into the OP anime and switched to reading the manga, only watching the anime for cool fight scenes.
