Anons I'm literally retarded when it comes to understanding how torrents work, so help me out here, I checked HS catalog and managed to download older show batches just fine using the magnet links, so doesn't this mean that nothing was actually lost as long as we have the magnet links? I found seeds just fine.
Or is this temporary? Will magnet links of old nyaa stop working soon too? It's weird to me because the nyaa tracker in the magnet links gives a 404 error, but "peer exchange" still finds seeds. Like I said I'm retarded.

XDCC is not and thus those bots will very quickly reach their limits. XDCC cannot be a true substitute for torrents.

What's the actual motivation for using torrents over xdcc except for old shows or other content (music, games, etc.)? There are xdcc lists other than HS that have almost every show from the past couple of years including BD releases, fansubs, and whatnot.

I consistently get way faster speeds through xdcc, easily reaching 4-5 mbps, and can watch the shows while I'm downloading (you can do this with sequential torrenting but it makes me feel guilty).
