Considering how Vegeta is pretty much the go-to example for that archetype just because of how popular he and Dragonball are, I think it's safe to just call them the Vegetas of their series.

Like how characters that are trying to usurp power from the Big Bad can be called Starscreams; the name, while not a meaning by itself, carries a connotation based on its namesake's character.
