I hope not. I don't think I could handle another game set in that world. Zestiria irritated me with its boring overworld, shit dungeons and tedious equipment system, and having to relive the experience in Berseria was a nightmare. I don't want to spend another minute in that setting.

I wouldn't mind a sequel.

The first Storyteller (Magilou) is also responsible for creation of Celestial Record, which was later filled in with recent history by Shepherds.

The anime didn't just screw up Mayvins it screwed up Maotelus as well. Sorey's ability to purify comes from Maotelus, so if anime Sorey claims that he can purify, then Maotelus should be able to do the same as well, which begs the question why he didn't ever try to save Eizen in the anime?

In the game it makes sense why, because he can't, but anime Maotelus has no excuse.

Then there's also the problem with Hedalf's curse, anime Sorey gives him a friendship speech and purifies him (which goes against BOTH Berseria and Zestiria) and then tells him to go make friends. But the problem is Hedalf literally can't, he's been cursed.

Anime Bartlow also wants to keep Alisha on a leash, so then why did anime Bartlow allow Alisha authority over in the military and thus gain the support of the knight, when he wants to get rid of her?

Alisha's virtues hid her flaws.
She's moralfag, a dreamer, is overly stubborn and persistent. But that shit is what makes her fail so hard.
Her goals are right but her way of going about them is wrong, but because she's persistent she'll keep trying to do things the way she wants to, and is too stubborn to try something new. Especially because that way is by using bribery and lies aka politics.

That's why at the end Alisha had to be blackmailed into trying trying something new, because she wouldn't have done so on her own, and that's also why Sorey can't have her around him, because if she traveled with Sorey then Bartlow would have used that as an excuse to claim that she abandoned Hyland and thus she'd be named a traitor.

In the game, Bartlow wanted the war himself, Maltran wasn't using him to start the war, she was making Alisha alienate the other nobles so that Bartlow wouldn't have anyone go against him. But Bartlow himself did want the war for his own reasons so they worked together. Actually it was quite possible to avoid, in fact, both the novels and the manga did that, and they turned up better because of it. Not only that but it'd take less effort on Ufotable's end. Alisha is a side character, who in reality only should be been around for 3-4 episodes at best, in fact the Hyland section shouldn't have lasted long as it did in the anime at all. Her popularity also wasn't the type that was enough to carry an entire series, and has proven to fail at that before. Just making it very clear that she was a side character would have been perfect. Keep her impact and screen time small so that you have time for everything else.

On top of that there needed to be less Rose overall, and she needed to be less of her, having her cause Sorey to question his creed and to question her own, before deciding to give up on being an assassin would have fixed her.

Edna is related to Berseria more so let her talk about her brother and the things she learned about him more. Have Lailah speak up up about more about her own feelings regarding what happened to Michael and her own fuckups.

Hell Tales of Asteria completely erased Rose and Alisha and was also better off for it.

Yes, it was Symonne.

Symonne was once a seraph as any other, trying to help humans. She tried to lend hands to a certain village, and her curse made the powers manifest in a mist that drew all the villagers into endless coma like dream. They never woke from it.
She was terrified of her powers, thinking of them as a curse. She's one of the Seraphims Melchior was using, and his illusion powers are copy of her artes.
But to create Aball he needed her, and Magilou knew about it, as the same arte was used on her, meaning Melchior had Symonne for over 10 years.

For first time she had felt she has family that loves her, and didn't returned for the night to Melchior - failing the test.
The hint there was - the whole village was illusion, just like Velvet saw Aball and Laphicet, falling for it) Magilou knew from the start that it was illusion, as the village was destroyed by a dragon few years earlier, and her parents died in the attack.
"People can bear pain, but they can't oppose happiness."
Her training under Melchior was painful, but she withstood it, because she was of use for him. She bore his name, and had a father in him.
But when she couldn't oppose the happiness old man's illusion showed her, she failed his test and Melchior abandoned her. This broke Magillanica, as now she was all alone now.
Her heart 'broke"
And she stopped to perceive emotions.
Anger, love, happiness... she don't feel anything, what should frustrate her, but it doesn't - and it's something she's constantly trying to coope with.

It was Velvet, who succeeded where she had failed, who made Magilou start to feel again. At first it was jealousy, but then frustration, anger, and at the end joy and will to live. It's beautiful.

In the game it was Hyland that was the aggressor, so her wanting to stop the war made some sense. But Alisha's real problem was that she hated being a princess and well poltics was the only way to go if she wanted to achieve her goals. But Alisha was too much of a moral fag to be a politician.
