I can't outright disagree, but I also think that the Casino, cooking festival, and Gourmet temple (training) arcs were really strong. And while the latter half of the series wasn't as solid in terms of writing, Toriko managed to stay hype with all of it's nonsense like Edible Plot Armor.

Great series, 10/10 would read alongside anons again.

but it's shonen manga so it's ok
the fight was very nice, but still not all that impressive. the end was satisfying tho
