Reddit has some interesting stuff on it, especially for niche hobbies(/r/piano is how I found my keyboard) where the alternative is some fucking tapatalk/forum run by some powertripping faggot moderator and you can't see threads until you make an account. That said, almost any subreddit above 100,000 subscribers is full of shit, because once a subreddit becomes popular enough that the voting mechanism becomes the most significant factor in what makes it to the front, people making relevant content find themselves drowned out by the lowest common denominator and lowest effort post, since people can shit them out for worthless internet points. Comments similarly suffer from rampant tryhardisms that get pushed to the top because retards like that something made a reference to [popular tv show].
