In SMT originally the demons are party members, nothing like stands at all - multiple summons from a small computer that fight alongside the mc then return there after the battle is over.

It was only in SMT:If from 94 that we first got something similar to Stands (specific "Guardian Spirits" attached to the main character giving abilities and stat boosts) and then Persona went on and made that the game's main mechanic two years later, with the actual playable characters being humans that then summon Persona for special abilities. It's obvious the Persona idea itself was inspired by Jojo's stands.

I imagine that the Stands's arms and lengths act like springs increasing it's range in both kicking and attacking. It also has the ability to create and place springs. This can be used in a Defensive (placing a spring in-front of a Stand attack. When the fist hits the spring it will repel the attack). Manuverability (the user can place springs under the soles of his feat which gives him increased jump speed and length) and Offensive (He can place springs between two object. The Spring will decrease in height and then rapidly spring black which will send the object that is ontop of it flying)

Sticky Fingers and Nut King Call are my favorite Stands because of how easy they're able to be implemented despite being based off small things like hardware or zippers. Springs aren't necessarily hard to implement. Extend your body, absorb physical blows, stretchy shit, you could do a lot.

I like to think that over the course of hundreds of deaths, Diavolo slowly came to cope with his fate and either learned to enjoy his few, fleeting moments of life before each death, or found a way to cause mischief and get to be a villain again for the short spans of time in which he is reincarnated back into life. In fact, that could be a premise for a whole new manga.

I mean, shit, Valentine got caught in what was essentially an infinite death loop and learned how to temporarily regain control of his body, recruited AU Diego, and kept himself alive long enough to bargain with Johnny over the course of what couldn't have been more than a dozen deaths.
