An abrupt ending is basically a dropped series. I could say that any dropped series has a shit ending because there is no ending. It might not feel like a "complete" series but the author is finished with it, therefore it should be treated like a finished product.

But I don't really care about a shit ending, it doesn't ruin the parts I enjoyed and I can always re-read my favorite parts as much as I want, ignoring the parts I hate.
