We do have some instances of people getting stronger, like the precognition kid in Railgun and Accel with the wings. I'm not saying it's a rule, but there's a trend. You could argue that the clones weren't really part of Mikoto's personal reality like the dog was for the shota and Last Order for Accel. She hadn't even known they existed that long, so she couldn't have considered them integral parts of her life.

I'm aware that it's not entirely unheard of, but Kamachi tends to not rely on the power of friendship, it's only a catalyst to release what's already there or to make characters use their power more efficiently, not to get a convenient power up as plenty of characters don't get that convenient power up even when they'd really like it.
