I'm an old-ass DB fan and I'm the kind to be very critic, but not overly dramatic, I still find the good in things.
That being said, if you're not already a fan I don't think you'll like it. And if you're not an openminded fan you won't like it either.
You also won't like it if visual quality matters to you.

So...yeah, despites all that, I still like it, but I would really recommand skipping the first 2 arcs (if you watched the related movies, if not, go for it).
The third arc even...
4th arc with Mirai Trunks is...ok. Current arc started up very promising but had a couple of bad episodes lately. It still have very goods points tho, like what they're doing with secondary characters like Krillin.

Just because Vegetto appeared? That arc was trash, Trunks visited old friends and nothing important happens, no great moment, they just act as if they had met in a walk in the park, then Vegeta and Goku got their asses kicked by Black, got back to the past and repeat for episodes.

It's really just ok as I said, nothing more. Lots of people really seem to like it tho si I guess it's a good starting point. But yeah, the thing is, it was watchable as a weekly episodic series, not sure about the whole stuff...

I watched the first month of episodes when it aired and was so disgusted I gave up. I assumed it would last for only 24 eps.

I'm somewhat curious about the mythos, but knowing that the episode count is creeping towards 100 makes me fear the day I actually let my autism overcome common sense and force me to watch it just to put it behind me once and for all.
