Every body announces the name of their technique, which mostly tells you exactly what the fuck it's going to do, before they do it. I'd be calling my shit everything under the sun but what it does. Or better yet, not say a word and try out that whole "silence" thing. sometimes they replace themselves "oh shit, I'm a tree stump" and sometimes they don't. there is no reason why it only works sometimes.

ninjas supposed to be employed doing various things but I can't remember an actual mission after the bridge arc that wasn't heinous filler.

Have to sit through 700 chapters of "I can see" bullshit and entire fights with wtf events getting essentially retconned with "oh let's end this genjutsu and get serious". This despite the fact that they made it out like breaking genjutsu was trivial during the chuunin exams (the genin were blocking it for shit's sake)

Pein had the Rinnegan which basically marked him as the reincarnation of Ninja Jesus, and he had already killed Jiraiya. Danzo quite reasonably expected that there was no way Naruto could've gotten enough control over Sage Mode to beat Pein, considering Jiraiya still had an incomplete form of it.

If anything Tsunade should be blamed for getting into a pissing contest with Pein when he was already about to leave, since this is why Pein nuked Konoha.

And from what we see of ROOT, they're more assassination types than straight fighters, so Danzo didn't want to waste manpower.

The normal Sharingan can literally control reality via Izanagi. Do you really think that there isn't a counter to Kotoamatsukami? Also, Danzo knows how easy it is to play on emotions, so he was removing the possibility of Shisui being turned against Konoha.

The Uchiha are genetically insane, according to Tobirama 'Be Madara's kin, stab you with my Raijin' Senju. They all had to be killed or else they'd fall to the Curse of Hatred and be a threat to Konoha.

Hiruzen obviously didn't really disapprove, considering the only punishment he gave Danzo was disbanding ROOT, and not doing anything when it was obvious it was still active.
