In the manga, Goku never absorbs the SSG power into his base. Ok fine. This makes the U6 arc more sensible in a power scaling sense

But in the Black arc, Base Black was as powerful as Base Goku was in the RoF movie and anime. He stomped a SSJ3 tier Trunks like nothing, multiple times. He was clearly god level, or close to it.
Yet...SSJ2 Vegeta was able to fight on par with him. How does this make sense if Goku and Vegeta aren't god level in their base forms?
Why was Black so strong in the first place? The Goku he bodyjacked didn't absorb the SSG power right? And if SSJ2 Vegeta is much stronger than an opponent that shits on a SSJ3 level opponent, why is SSG even needed? why not just go Blue?

The manga isn't much better with the power scaling. It was, until the Future Trunks arc, which just shits on all kinds of logic

The elite troops have power levels of around 1000-2000.

Then of course there are the few exceptional individuals like Dodoria, Zarbon, Kui and the members of the Ginyu Force, who have particularly exceptional power levels.

This is why Frieza's men didn't really like the saiyans. Even a mediocre Saiyan could match one of Frieza's elite soldiers and in their Oozaru forms some of them could even match his most exceptional warriors.

Frieza destroyed the saiyans not just because of some lingering fear of an ancient legend but also because they were stubborn and legitimately a threat to his armies as a race. It was easier for him to destroy them all at once than it would have been to deal with a full blown Saiyan rebellion with an entire race that could match your best warriors in combat with relative ease.

They were both children when the saiyans all died so I doubt they ever really got a good measure of what the rest of their race was capable of. She actually wasn't hard on Gohan. Gohan himself chose to not train and study instead. Chi-Chi taught Goten how to fight and styled his hair to look like Goku. She's also the one who gave him the Goku like outfit. Gohan thinks to himself how much his mom mellowed out and changed since Goku died

She immediately let Gohan join the tournament when he asked so they could win money, was cheering him the loudest in the crowd, telling everyone to shut up and watch, was cheering Goten on too, and had the balls to slap Buu in the face. During the epilogue she had absolutely no problem with Goku training Pan and making Goten compete. The only thing she hated was SSJ, telling Goten it makes him look like a delinquent.

There's an episode of Super where she tells Gohan the whole overbearing wife thing is just an act since it's the only way to keep Goku home. Goku also loves it.

Well of course they are, the manga version just released. There was absolutely no chance of any manga content of Black or Zamasu to ever be in Xenoverse. We'll probably get SSJ Black and Zamasu's telepathic moves for Xeno 3 though, just for more varied movesets

Anime Merged Zamasu was unstoppable, he kept getting up from everything. Vegetto's best attack didn't even put him down.

In the manga, he gets stronger, but doesn't ever feel like a major threat. He even ignores the heroes and just spams lasers, and doesn't wreck everyone, he actually fights the fuckers 1v1.
