If Tomoino wanted to push the environment right he'd have done rising sea levels, cities filled with smog where you really need to use a gas mask, show that the planets deserts have gotten worse, talk about how chemical changes/ozone in the air have fucked with wildlife and now crops are even harder to grow. But no, we get scenes of places we already know are deserts, and then in Zeta we get locations that simply look like a generic modern city. Where's the fucking horrors of war? The environmental damage that Char winds up championing. Then fucking 08th MS goes off into lush jungles and shit, and I assume the people living there fall into the 'too poor to fly to space' category. Even though they seem well off in terms of food. And the rest of the cities seem staffed by generic modern city dwellers, instead of the super elite feddies/military types.

as much as I love gundam and understand that it came at early time so the imagination for weapons was lacking domon being the only character with an almost instant-win weapon was fucking cheating. would be nice to have some G gundam redo or something. domon,master asia and devil gundam are fine but everyone else needs a serious upgrade.
