Keijo was axed not because the anime flopped but due to the anime not increasing the sales and popularity of the manga.
SnK anime is going to flop but the manga is still selling strong, it is not going to get axe even if the anime failed

Not really, Keijo was more of the exception than the rule. We'll probably never know if Keijo really did get axed or if was planned to end anyway, but it's true that the manga sales were not good before, and after, the anime aired. The anime failed to boost the manga sales, which were poor to begin with. Thus, you could say the Keijo anime was a true flop in all aspects, considering most anime that flop at least manage to boost the sales of their source material.
