Yeah, was surprised by her parent(s) looking different. Her dad looks ridiculous. We have more than enough comedy and silliness in LWA, I'd appreciate character design not being screwed around with, it kind of destroys the world they've built up. The television editions is already a lesser version of what we got in the two movies. I didn't like this episode at all, especially after the last few episodes that were more serious, story progressing, and action based.

I did like that the little real world bit about Lotte's parents having to convert the shop into a market, because witches are dying out. Akko's disappointment was so relatable after hearing so much about a friend's magic shop house that they grew up in.

It appears superficially to be Plutchik's Emotions, based on the emotion labels on her display, but she only uses seven of them, dropping Fear as a primary.

In addition, somehow she only managed to get 5 secondary emotions, for a 12 slot colour wheel, and it's laid out weird as hell, with most of the opposites and secondaries in fucked up positions.
