The Aikatsu and Pripara Thread™.
I want to fuck Lala.
If someone jobs, it'll be Mahiru or Yuzu.
Yuzu actually kept her rank while Mahiru earned hers by defeating her onee-chan. Memecat and Yume are just heirs. Arguably, Mahiru and Yuzu are the "strongest" S4s.
Is it just me, or is this kid the only person in the show that's even trying to act? Seems like the other two girls don't give a shit.
Can you fucks remember to at least put Aikatsu/Pripara in the fucking subject next time?
It depends on how cool the op post is
mine get deleted sometimes
We don't have generals in these shows, those are in shows discussed in other threads on /a/.
Furthermoe, Ran a secks.
Delicious Doroshi isn't a problem.
Remove Hibiki and Ajimi.
Too bad the new season just removed everyone who isn't Lala.
This is nice but I hope they didn't bring Nozomi with them.
>remove two of the most pivotal characters in S2 aka the most interesting season
You're decades too early to challenge me Dorothyfag.
I want to die
BUY OUR TOYS
Ah you think art is your calling? You merely adopted the Da Vinci. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't become an idol until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but a farce!
So many good and cute designs, some even better than the ones of the mains but all gone to hell, forever wasted on background characters who will never amount to anything. It hurts.
But who's the boy?
While I agree, I prefer Yui.
Guys, /pc/ is officially dead. Someone literally said he needs some recs for his girlfriend and like three people gave him serious answers. I then told him to fuck off and some guy asked me why anyone would tell anyone to fuck off. You guys shit on Lalafucker but he might be one of the most valuable posters here.
>Why do we care?
Oh I don't know I've only been going there for like a year and I just kind of realized it, and once I started coming here like a few months ago, I realized it was a lot better. Guess I'm just re-establishing what everyone knows though, my bad.
There's a difference between:
>Hey I always see your threads with neat OPs and decided to try something you guys watch. Where should I start?
>hey guys I'm new xD which animes would you recommend to watch alongside my wife's son so i can bond with him while her bf is spending time with her lol :<
Even a /v/ crossboarder would have a bit more decency. It's more like he doesn't belong in 4chan at all, hasn't lurked even for one minute, and thinks he can behave the same way he behaves from whatever shithole he came from here.
>go to big 5
Pretty easy. Jumping off a building is another easy option.
I'm hoping this artist will draw Kouya no Kiseki Lily.
OG only horribly misused or ignored a few characters, like Kaede or Maria. PriPara was fine in S1 and S2, it only got bad in S3 because the cast had become too big, which is why Idol Time was needed.
I actually liked Lily this episode for the first time since her introduction, she was pretty cute.
Yeah, her plot was pretty much resolved by that episode and then she got into Wakana's plot, but that's still better than being catchphrase zombies like half the cast in S2 of Aikatsu.
As it's been said many many times, S4 was a mistake.
OG may have made many mistakes but there was never a single moment where I felt any of the characters were someone's bitch or a jobber
inb4 Sumire, she took a gamble to win and it didn't pay off. Learn what jobbing means first.or less than someone else. Everyone was successful to a degree and had their own idol niche so none felt overshadowed by anyone else even if there was "Starlight Queen" or "Top Idol" or whatever other title.
>being catchphrase zombies like half the cast in S2 of Aikatsu.
But that didn't happen. I could maybe understand if you were talking about the Ichigo gen characters in Akari gen, but even then that's irrelevant because they were no longer the main cast and except for Ichigo their appearances were mere fanservice.
They were catchphrase zombies in the first half of S2, heck, a bunch of their dialogues were "Let's do this thing" "Yeah" "Sure" but at least it isn't as bad as Akari gen as you said, which is funny because without Mizuki Aikatsu's quality goes down the drain.
Whoah, harsh words anon, but Lily was indeed a mistake in S1 of Stars, first she comes and steals Rolla's thunder by being another character stuck in Song Class and the writers build her up as someone of a great level and skill that surpass both Rolla and Yume and then at the end the writers decide that Rolla should take her initial place by defeating her, and before you said it, I don't dislike Lily, I like her design, but she was a mistake and should have been in another class.
Nice projection, but I'm not a waifufag, my main problem with Stars is how they added another character to the song class and they hype her as some big shit while said class already had enough characters, also they kinda left aside Rolla and Hime after Lily was introduced, should have introduced Lily in another class that lacked a competition.
I wanna smell an idol too.
PriPara just rebooted. There's a new cast and a new setting. It's been good so far, with 3 episodes aired.
Just watch 5-10 episodes per day and you'll be done in now time.
Lily getting the first non-Venus Ark Wings feels like such a pointless bone thrown to such a mistreated character. Why even give her the dramatic backstory if by this point she essentially only exists to further the storylines of other characters? The only point of her getting the SPR was teaching Yume a lesson she should have learned ages ago, setting up Lola getting her brand and SPR and also inspiring Mahiru into getting her own SPR. And now Lily has nothing to do for the rest of the season.
It's not even a bone because as you just mentioned, she was used as set-up for everyone else and she has already realized her supposed new dream too. What's next? Finding another another dream? It's all pointless.
>tfw ywn suck momma Leona-kun's ochinchin for his dickie milkie
>tfw ywn sit on Leona-kun's lap and smell his smelly sweaty armits as he gives you a nursing handjob after he's performed 5 live concerts in a row
Lily is the idol that inspires us to dream, Hime inspires us to go make them true and Elza gives us the strength to achieve anything. I think of Yume as a race car's mechanic: she supports us along the way.
Anyway, dreaming is important and when we achieve something we need to set ourselves new goals so we don't become stagnant.
More like Lily is the idol who teaches us hard work will never amount to anything in the face of overwhelming privilege being given through either sheer luck like Hime or being born into royalty with access the best resources in the world through her wealth and status like Elza or connections giving you stuff you wouldn't dream of having just because they know you like Yume.
You'd have a point if you weren't putting dreaming and achieving something in the same sentence.
Lily's dream was explicitly mentioned to become S4, it was the end goal of everything she had set herself to do. She completely failed at it and has no more chances. This is fact. This makes your "dreaming" and "set yourself a new goal after achieving the initial goal" statements wrong as Lily's "new goal" was after a "I failed but I can still find a new dream" realization after Yuzu spoke to her about it. She got wings? Her PR? That's after she was forced to settle by doing them anyway despite wanting to do them after becoming S4 as she originally swore to herself. Not because she "achieved" something.
I'm not saying you are wrong per-se, but you picked the worst possible example with Lily.
Anyone care to explain how come Mahiru and Rola are wearing PRs but their SPRs clearly have the same symbols in their PRs? Are their PRs going to magically get upgraded into SPRs by the Aikatsu System?
But becoming S4 only actually became her dream rather than just the means to achieving her dream after she got her brand. So she works as an example of reaching a goal and then setting a new one.
>That's after she was forced to settle by doing them anyway despite wanting to do them after becoming S4 as she originally swore to herself.
Learn to read again. Stop trying to twist facts at your convenience.
I was trying to remember who had the meme-est wings in OG and I remembered that Seria had literal music scores wings.
Sure, but the point is at the end of the episode 39 she says (on the topic of becoming S4 and then making her PR dress) "That is my new dream".
I didn't twist anything, you just mistook what I was referring to. She got her brand (achieved her dream) then set her new goal of becoming S4 (setting a new dream).
This was by far the coolest design out of all the winged dresses.
Heh, I know I am watching stars wrong but didn't Lily wanted to become Hime, being s4 and a brandname, but only achieve half-Hime because Moroboshi fiasco. By end of s1 she said to find another goal with her lesbain waifu and now Elza has GOKIGENYO JA-PAN along with her band of piracy. Lily now had OMOSHIROI JANAI goal to become Elza and attained GOKIGENYO WINGS.
>S4 = Olympics
They may be hot shit in Japan but they are nothing worldwide as Elza proved in 5 seconds.
Even if she's the 4th best Song Class Idol, guess what? No one remembers the 4th, 3rd or even 2nd place. People only care and give a fuck about the winner. She lost, which means she failed.
You'd think the best idol in the fucking world who has literally traveled the world plundering the best idols would actually know what she's talking about and not go back on it immediately, but I guess not because Rola is the best even though she constantly loses to Yume, am I right?
Finally caught up with all of Pripara. I hate to admit it, but I think this would actually be better if they just forgot about Lala and everyone from the previous series with maybe a mention or two of Salami Smile. I like Yume a lot but this show kind of blows so far.
Reboot-sequel syndrome hurts the show a lot. Specially with having to explain all the basic stuff all over again for the new kiddies tuning in. It'll probably get better when the intro-crap is done with. You can see the "meat" there but they are just not letting anyone bite in yet.
They should've just made The Ajimi Show desu
I'm pretty sure Lala is gonna go away in 3-4 cours, it's quite obvious that they're still experimenting with this new MC thing.
>they built Lily up to be hot shit
She was about 100 points short of Rola. On the scale that they were using for the points, that's a tiny gap. I'd say she was pretty fucking good, and pretty much on the level.
I can't fucking believe all the bullshit going on. I wonder if all these nasty anons even bother doing anything worthwhile when all they do is say that not being top #1 universe means why even try. Last I heard none of us here are world renowned in any given activity so I wonder if we all should just kill ourselves or something.
Lily got her brand but lost the competition and then got what she wanted again. I'd say overall success in what she set out to do.
Point is they built her up as the closest thing to S4 or whatever, and never gave us anything to go against this leading up to the S4 selection, where she then proceeds to lose to two first years.
I probably should have put more thought into my phrasing.
It has been pretty fun, but Lala feels kind of shoehorned in. And the whole "now that you are a kami idoru you must split up with your friends, move far away, and shill shill shill FOR FREE" is just pretty weird. And nobody even gives a shit about Lala being """famous"""""" not even Yume, who is supposedly into idols. What did becoming a Kami idol even accomplish for Lala? It feels like all that bullshit for the first 140 episodes was pointless. Logically, idol time should be fun, but it just feels kind of off.
I'm more upset that Lily jobbed while Memehiru and the stupid memecat got into S4. I really cannot care for memechops and the forced cosplayer.
Let Roller and Lily take their spots later.
Hey I don't know if the dude that recommended me baroque music is still here but I've been listening to Biber's rosary sonatas, they're pretty good. I still don't really see why someone would prefer Baroque to music after 1750, but maybe I'll find out if I listen more.
>They're trolling because they disagree with me
>Muh not an argument
Someone up above is saying people don't give a shit but anyone not first in the Olympics (which is also a casual as hell thing to say) and I don't see you complaining about that example.
To enhance your experience it's best to learn music theory and an actual classical instrument while listening. You're less likely to appreciate the innovation that the composers of the most prolific and aesthetic era of music is capable of otherwise.
>learn music theory and an actual classical instrument
No, I've got that part down. I play classical guitar and taken intro level music theory, and Biber stood out to me because the lute parts in this series of pieces are all very interesting. It's like learning Japanese and hearing English words that give you hints as to what's going on.
I like this one in particular.
COOL AND SPICY
>I've got that part down.
>I play classical guitar
Go on anon, play us that Wonderwall.
Wow rude I've been practicing pretty hard. I'm not good yet but I'm pretty sure I'll be pretty good within the next two years. I've been playing for 8. I mean I could go on about all the obscure shit play and recommend some public domain transcripts by people you've never heard of that I use to practice, but I don't really see the point in that.
Anime isn't real life dude. It'd be acceptable for someone irl to try their best and fail, but in Lily's case, whatever happens to her is being planned out and written by someone, it's deliberate. She deliberately tried her best and jobbed to a jobber and then tried to play it cool. She's a total loser.
Don't worry anon, I've heard Villa-Lobos.
By the way Ajimifriend, what do you play?
Oh I know.
But Lily just got wings this last episode, so even the writers aren't saying "she lost S4 therefore she's a loser who loses at everything". It was deliberate that she got wings first. It was deliberate that she found success despite not being the best of the best. The idea that you're either the best or nothing is bullshit.
You like the Renaissance composers for the much older guitar, that would make sense. I think it also makes sense that a violinist prefers Baroque. I'm talking out of my ass here, but it seems to me like some of the best violin concertos are Baroque, and then everybody started liking the piano more during the classical era.
You're missing out by denying yourself the pleasure of the Classical era though. This is one of my favorites. I'm assuming you've heard most of the good violin concertos, so this is something obscure to musicians in general, but pretty famous among guitarists.
Quoting wasn't necessary, you were able to infer what was being implied without it. No need to be rude anon.
I wasn't being rude anon, but you should still quote, so have a Lala (boy).
I'm not fond of the rigid ritornello Classical style as well as limp-wristed Romanticism, the former lacks flair and the latter lacks conciseness. I do however listen to a bit of CPE and Boccherini but really nothing else beyond that timeline.
Your taste in music is wrong
Done with those storyboards for anyone who is interested.
Don't worry, I've got episode 19 to do soon.
A shit. Such a shit that all of her tamas besides Bibidyke abandoned her and went back to Kokoro 2 episodes later. I hope she stays in America forever having angry lesbian eggsex with the only tama she ever paid attention to.
That's a very fast non right there
If it were terribly mishandled then it would actually be handled pretty well.
These disgusting little shits eat popcorn right off the floor of a movie theater.
>every nonsugar got the same super cyalume coord
>some anons unironically expected shit from them
While the team grow was natural the stuff as a whole felt like a second finger to the Goddess plot so it didn't really feel like "Non's cour", that would be the most important issue because everything else was pretty neat when you think it as Non's cour because almost everyone else that wasn't Lala or a Goddess might as well not exist.
It's kind of dumb overall.
S3 has a recurring yet theme of family/sisterhood yet Non doesn't amount to much by the end despite the focus on her since early S3 and having quite a few episodes centered around her forming a new unit.(which happened way too late so by the time that was done we went straight into the tournament arc)
The resolution of Lala VS Non is ok. Non might have the talent but she is still too green to face an unit as experienced as Salami. Nonsugar is representative of the next generation, they might get there in due time.
Triangle is, again, more wasted potential. They barely did anything with the concept. Non got humiliated and that's the start of her development but we really didn't need Triangle for that subplot to work.
You either need to reconcile Triangle with Nonsugar as concepts or add more episodes. S3 just had too many characters to juggle so some subplots naturally got the shaft.
After i see what happens when they become kami idols. i glad that Non lose and she can have fun with her friends in pripara instead of being slave of the system and working for free for it
Reminder Laala slammed her rock hard feelings into Non which basically deflowered her
Watch your fucking tongue
I'll check this, thanks anon.
This is the first thing that came up on google https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWubhw8SoBE and it's great, I'll check the rest of this stuff.
I like this song a lot. Not flute-related but have this as my thanks anons.
Nothing wrong with a little skinship
I want to die
I fucking hate you people who accuse others of avatarfagging. He clearly just loves Ajimi, and has so many screenshots of her that he happens to have an appropriate Ajimi for almost every expression that goes with what he might be saying. But then faggots like you come in and scream "AVATARFAG" just to be mean. It's thanks to fucks like you that I can't even post my Hime reaction images in /pc/ anymore. Everybody's too fucking jaded.
>and has so many screenshots of her that he happens to have an appropriate Ajimi for almost every expression that goes with what he might be saying.
That's exactly what avatarfagging is.
> It's thanks to fucks like you that I can't even post my Hime reaction images in /pc/ anymore. Everybody's too fucking jaded.
No wonder you are so retarded, you are /pc/ shitter. Kill yourself and do the word a favor.
