For a second there i seriously thought Olivier was being a little bitch for no good reason,

Which protagonist so far you felt was the most endearing between Estelle and Lloyd? Rean is way more stoic so he's not really that endearing.

I have a hard time deciding between the first two though. I've only played FC/SC, but the way I view his character is a guy that's subtly a step above the others. He makes sure all the pieces fall into place. I always like to think that everything that occurred in FC/SC was under his approval, even Weismann's death. 'Enforcers are not forced to join Ouroboros' and 'Enforcers can refuse or take on any task they want' was brought up several times throughout both games, so I assumed Weismann using Joshua like a puppet was a big middle finger to that and The Grandmaster had Campanella paid him back in kind.

I cannot comprehend people who hate on Joshua. It's like they didn't pay attention to the story at all. At the end of FC he finds out that Weismann has complete control over him. With a snap of his fingers he could have Joshua murder Estelle in her sleep, or Agate, or Tita, or Kloe, or anyone else he was close with.

If you were in Joshua's position and you didn't leave everything behind you'd be a fucking coward. The only way he even got around that predicament in the end is because they chanced upon Kevin who could remove his seal. And even with THAT he still almost killed Estelle.

What is the exact time lapse between each game?

Between FC to TC it seems to fall into the spam of a few months maybe close to a year?

From a translated gameplay of the prologue i saw on youtube for zero no kiseki, it seems to mention the non-aggression pact was signed 3 years ago, so i assume there was a big jump there.

Cold steel seems to happen at the same time as Zero and Ao correct? I think Steel 2 goes a little beyond where Ao ends, and Ao itself from what i read has an ending which takes place 2 years in the future, i don't know the contents of said ending though and now, the third cold steel is taking place 2 years after the ending of 2?

So i guess so far the series has gone through close to six years?

I wonder if the next region will also take place at the same time as Crossbell or Erobonia happenings, or if there will be another skip.

I still think that its easier to find them in FC as you can see them on the map and ambush them, but killing them is a different thing.
In SC, they are mixed with common enemies so I don't exactly know their location. Although they are quite susceptible to Dark Matter early game then Death Scream, thats why Kloe can take them out easily, even more if you min max her Arts Strength.

From gameplay videos i saw, hard/nightmare looks a lot more manageable since agl is not completely fucking useless against special bosses, and you get a lot more craft variety and such.

In the trails in the sky arc it feels like it's made to be completely unfair unless you employ the earth wall spam tactics for the most part, or some other repetitive one, while in later ones you can actually go about it with different strategies and still win.

So is the whole theory of "grandmaster = Aidios" go along the lines of:

You know in comparison to Liberl, everywhere else seems like they have their own share of horrible shit and corruption. Liberl was like paradise compared to everywhere else so far, and Calvard according to Zane has plenty of corrupt politicians too.

I guess it's easier to not have as many problems since they're relatively small as a country, and it's a monarchy with local leaders being chosen by popular vote if the prior one is removed from their seat for whatever reason.

Cold Steel is an easy of example of a studio cashing in on shitty money-grab ideas pulled from ass anime. Yeah, Sky was full of anime tropes too, but they were all relatively harmless, not overbearing, and still gave the characters plenty of room to breath.

I personally found both appealing in their own way. Sky clearly had the better characterization and characters in general but I couldn't really give a rat's ass about either cast aside from a few I really liked. In terms of story itself, SC suffers from the Ouroboros enforcer of the week format that really got tiring since half the plot is mostly catching up to them and their hijinks. The best part of Cold Steel for me was the civil war and I appreciated what everyone had a stake for in it, even if it resulted in a lot of the characters only being relevant due to the actions of their family.
