Alibaba has actual teams that visits the suppliers to make sure their shit is legit, furthermore they have sales insurances in place so that suppliers can't get the money directly unless they prove different things depending on the free insurance you get. Trying to track down a figure I missed out on buying.

I was at a convention yesterday and I saw this large Star Platinum (JOJO) statue. Somebody else bought it before I could get it and I can't find anything like it online. From what I could overhear the seller talking about, it wasn't poseable apart from the feet to help position it.

It was at least 25cm tall and was shown in the box having a wide stance, arms and legs out. She was selling it for $175 (So that means it would be like $100 in the US). The box looked rather old. It was a huge cube and the colours looked nothing like the standard JOJO figures boxes nowadays. It was brown with blue/pink accents, like straight out of Stardust Crusaders.

Unfortunately I don't know the store's name either. If anyone knows anything about this, I'd appreciated the help.
