Read the manga, it's complete dogshit. Everything is predictable, the humor falls flat, the characters have no depth beyond their archetypes, and the romance never actually develops despite around half the girls outright saying they love MC to his face. After multiple arcs of that happening where they then say "ah, everything's back to normal" it's really just too much. Especially after the most recent arc where Guri's mom shows up and shit happens, but nope, can't have any actual progress gotta introduce more transfer students!

Not even close, but I'm still enjoying it for what it is. The manga's better anyway.

From the perspective of someone who had been a fan of the manga long before in a dumb fun way, I can't agree anymore. The pace is so crazy and they keep skipping some of the better and arguably important moments that it just leaves me frustrated. As an adaption, it's pretty poor.
