do you listen to music when reading manga? do you listen to different genres depending on what you're reading?

if possible, i listen to the anime adaptations ost
I read music while listening to manga.
Ever since I started associating Disappearance of Hatsune Miku with FMA, I stopped doing that. It was a wholesomely inappropriate soundtrack, yes, but who knows what shuffle will bring to the table next time, and I'm too lazy to hand-pick music for each specific series.
I read through Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan while listening to Yuki-chan anime and then Disappearance movie OST.
I didn't intend to, but I managed to finish the manga right as a happier variation of the Disappearance movie's credits song was playing.
Was a nice way to close it off.
And jesus is the manga better than the anime.

No, it breaks the immersion.

this, but only If I watched the anime first and then jumped to the manga.
if a manga i'm reading gets an adaptation I just ignore it 99% of the times.
I try not to listen to music when reading because it fucks up retention
