Well when you're a religious organization it helps a lot of the god you worship is actually physically proven to be there.

I think that somebody at some point mentioned a Prime Minister but with the degree of power that the Taisha has I can't imagine an elected government holding much power. Luckily in terms of governance they seem mostly benevolent, aside from the censoring of information. Other than the threat of your entire world being invaded by eldritch horrors living in Shikoku is pretty good.

I have the Washio Sumi movie downloaded and will watch it this weekend. Tougou-san was my favorite yuusha so I'm looking forward to it. Also to the HanaKana character.

I think Taisha aren't really the government in that they don't manage civil affairs, things like crimes and hospitals and housing and welfare and everything would be mostly run by the government, and then the Taisha have their own affiliated school and hospital for their special chosen people. They're more just a very powerful church, like in middle-ages Europe or something where even kings have to obey religious law.

I did the encode of the first movie. Not really knowledgeable about those things either, but I've used these settings:

Turned up the RF(I've used 15, but for probably not much gain, 17 is most likely sufficient) and changed the Encoder Preset to Slower. Encoder Profile to High and Encoder Level to 5.1.
