My point is less about literal hate and more about trying so hard to go "anime is dying. Everything is shit/nothing is interesting anymore. Look how cool and elitist I am hurrr durr" . My point is that extreme doomsaying attitude where you only praise a few shows and dismiss the rest as garbage and not interesting is extremely pretentious.
