I like blu-rays, myself. Used to buy so many DVD's, but half my anime purchases these days is superior BD versions of stuff I already own. Looking to replace Escaflowne next with the new Funimation set.

Sadly, some BD's suck, like the new Sailor Moon first season. I was really looking forward to that one, too. Or the Ghost in the Dhell movie BD. Apparently it's awful.

I have so much terrible anime, too. The bad shit is mostly on DVD though, and I bought the worst of it years ago.

(Seriously, I own Pilot Candidate, Blue Gender and Please Twins, among others.)
