do you often have trouble finishing things?
>>156096004
Happens everytime I get into SoL or a slow starting series
I have to have visible progress or I start to question why I even want to watch it
>>156096004
Ever since like 2015 or so I've been this way, it's pretty fucking shitty.
>>156096004
>get to episode 9 or so
>start something else
I don't even watch anime anymore. Lurking and shitposting here is enough for me to know the plots, characters and events in most anime anyway.
Still read manga though
>>156096004
Same. I'm just impatient, I guess. I like Aria, but it's just too slow, but I'm powering through.
I don't have this problem with some good slow manga, though. But others, I do. Like Kirino. I could never get far into it, even though I love imoutos.

That's alright anon, you're not the only one with ADHD or OCD.
>>156096004
If I make it past episode three I usually can't stop until I've seen it all.
maybe you're just afraid of a show actually ending.
>>156096004
Used to be like this, then something snapped and I started to marathon shows one after another.
>>156096004
Story of my life. I just can't get myself to finish Demi-chan for example or to watch anime. But I already downloaded the ongoing seasonal episodes.
What?
I only drop things I'm not particularly enoying. Or things that are ok but are better for a different mood. For example I loved Thunderbolt Fantasy's first episode but don't feel like continuing right now.
If I like something I finish it.
Casuals

Sounds like you have no attention span at all.
>>156096004
Without a weekly release and a 4chin shitposting thread, I have no motivation to finish a series
>>156102381
That's sad.
>>156096004
Happens if the series I'm watching is too slow or just had a bad episode.
Also happens when the series is good and I don't want it to end.
Problem is sometimes I put it off for so long I forget what happens and that makes continuing harder since I have to recap first.

Haha same except instead of a few episodes it was 467 :^)

This is what happened with me and Katanagatari
>>156096004
Happened to me with LWA. Last episode I saw was the one with Sucy's dream. It was fun, but I somehow don't care enough to continue watching. Very weird.
How to improve attention span?
>>156096026
Yes. Help, senpai.
Focus all attention at a wall for as long as you can several times a day
Each time try to stay longer than the last without getting bored or distracted
>>156104269
The longest show I ever watched was literally 1/10th of that.Taiho Shichauzo 1996, 47 episodes (51 if you count the original four OVA's from 1994)

> start watching a series> fap to it once > immediately stop watching it
>Watch and enjoy series.
>Get near the end.
>Don't want to finish because you'll never experience the same show for the first time again.
