I watched the whole Tv and end of evangelion should I bother with the rebuilds. Tv and movie are my favorite tv shows and movie now so I feel like the rebuilds will just shit On that.

Anno made NGE in 1995, finished the story in 1997. It was a smash hit, people loved it, and Rei was everyone's favorite character which Anno hated because his personal favorite was Asuka, a character that's an amalgam of his other favorite characters from other series. He becomes bitter, doesn't really want much to do with Evangelion and everything is half-hearted, he keeps being sour over Rei's popularity, etc...

Enter the Rebuilds: Anno's giant retcon to the original anime series where Evangelion gets flipturned upside down. Out the door goes plot, character, quality and everything just to make Asuka look cool and Rei look bad. Anno butters it up thick by giving Asuka lesbian lover yurifans can fantasize about and gives the waifufags the feeling of smug superiority by making Asuka into a super-strong angel-girl or something.

In the meantime, Rei is decried as a clone of Yui, is shown to have zero intelligence, and is more or less written out of the story. Because none of this makes sense whatsoever, because you can't make a story like this without making huge leaps of logic and retconning everything, naturally Rebuild sucks for everyone except Asuka fans and Kaworu fans at this stage.

To introduce a plot hole where they can pretend the missing deveopment exists. It's a blanket excuse. All of you questions can be answered by "it happened in the timeskip". It's cheap handwaving.

Final will not answer anything important because it will reveal it all as a poorly written farce.

Watch them if you feel like it, but you're right that it will add nothing to your experience of the show and could only degrade the experience.
1.0 is a clip show of the series up to Ramiel battle. Redrawn with same shots, minimal new scenes, but it's not as good because the pacing is too rushed. The Ramiel scene is mostly new and really good though.
2.0 is a dumbed down version of the show around when Asuka arrives. It's a fun movie and the best in the series but it has some real stupid shit in it.
3.0 just sucks. It tries something admittedly really interesting to fuck with the audiences expectations but in execution it doesn't work. Pacing is really rushed so the whole movie is exposition and then the climax and the characters do dumb things for no good reason.

If you really love Eva, chances are you won't enjoy a lot of what the Rebuild does. It's not different enough to be its own thing and not similar enough to have the impact of the original. Some nice animation but that's it.

If you're looking for more I recommend that instead you watch other Ann stuff: Gunbuster, Nadia, the first 2/3 of Kare Kano and Shin Godzilla. If you liked the more arthouse psychological elements of Eva his live action movies Love & Pop and Shiki-Jitsu are good and worth watching too.

OG asuka was as fucked up in the head as shinji, strongly depressed, did some fucking terrible things and overall had good depth on her character.

Shikinami asuka is just her design + as much "look how she is cool" as possible, which just makes her feel like a generic shounen girl.

Not going to lie, I unironically like the Rebuild movies. My only complaint about 3.33 is just that it means missing out on all the cool shit that was shown in the previews at the end of 2.22 and probably a bunch of other cool stuff that's implied to have happened. I liked the movie itself. Possibly helps that I have no favourite waifu/husbando.
My only complaint now is that where the _fuck_ is the last one what the fuck man.
