First episode was weak and meandered a lot, clearly wasting time because it wanted to avoid exposition it planned to dump later.
The second episode had a strong finish but weak start as it spewed meta-jokes in rapid succession almost out of obligation.
The show is already showing stress-fractures of weak scenario planning and poor attention-to-detail, it will likely sputter to a dissatisfactory pace after another couple episodes and rely on the occasional cheap twist to keep audiences interested until it limps over an uninteresting finish line.

I'm actually okay with Hime's ridiculous dialogue, I feel like it's a necessary part of the plot. Her design and role makes it obvious she's supposed to represent those chuuni villains that take themselves seriously, she's obviously trying to set up a grandiose plan, and it makes sense to me that she'd want to dump this long exposition in story.

What really bothers me is like, Meteora's explanation of things that we really don't need to bother with. Or how still Selejia is talking to anyone ever. Or how heavy handed they handled Mamika and Selejia's contrast to each other. I feel like half of the show is going to be characters arguing with each other over their individual world views that just don't apply to one another at all.
