, wish they'd stop repeating last episode
Best episode yet, But why did they stop to watch? They only glanced back in the manga
>tfw already waiting for the OST release
>[SAYING RUN INTENSIFIES]
I like the consistent fast pacing of this show. My biggest gripe is that I wish more of the cast had as much characterization as Granade-kun, Deku or Oru Maito do.
Th rest of the cast is not unlikable but a little plain desu.
Oh man this episode was great, Specially this part.
BONES seem be on the ball when doing BnH, Everything is solid.
Part of me want's to wait for subs to come out before watching the eventual Deku vs Todoroki fight just so i can actually understand what's going on, but i missed the chapter threads when it was released, and god damn these threads are going to be hype watching it live.
so Pacing so far
Ep 14 (S2 -1) Chapter 22
Ep 15 (S2 -2) Chapters 23 - 24
Ep 16 (S2 -3) Chapters 25 - 26
given ep 14 was part recap the pacing seems to be 2 chapters per ep 2, so 24 eps = 48 chapters so around chapter 69
An Interview With Midoriya
I rather doubt that.
First cour ended with USJ, which puts it at the start of volume 3. So assuming a similar pacing with the second, that'd just put it through volume 5, which would mean the entire Sports Festival Arc.
We're probably gonna have to wait for a 3rd cour for Stain.
>We're probably gonna have to wait for a 3rd cour for Stain.
Why do retards like these exist?
I really don't know
This'll make a neat wallpaper.
I don't think so. This time It's gonna last 25 episodes. They can cover all the sport festival in 10-12 episodes. Gran Torino part is fast, they can cover is 5 episodes or less.
Motivation. All the other students are still just that, students. Class A meanwhile has already survived a battle with actual criminals looking to kill them.
As Eraserhead put it when the same matter came up later during the License Exam Arc, they're "Looking a bit more ahead than everyone else".
>you need to become popular to be a good hero
Shouldnt it be the other way around? No wonder Stain wants to burn everything to the ground
Almost half of the top kids are in class B or A. It's Aizawa, Vlad King and the USJ invasion which made all the difference.
You're not cool because you're a hero, you're a hero because you're cool. The popular heroes are the powerful and brave ones, and weak heroes won't get popular.
stainfags are shit, there's nothing wrong with an excess of people that want to save others.
Spider-Man is pretty much loved by the public despite the Daily Bugle's slander. Its how he winds up being a member of the Avengers and such and doesn't have to hide is presence in the daylight.
Spider-Man gets to be an Avenger because the Avengers have fought beside him so many times they all know he's a good guy even if he's a little annoying.
You don't have to be popular in-universe to be an Avenger, many of their members have been quite controversial to the public like Wolverine, Namor, Black Widow, Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch, Sandman or The Hulk.
I'm going to cuddle Aoyama until his tum tum feels better!
In the comics, at this stage they're much more akin to super-powered terrorists honestly.
They literally sequestered themselves on an island they annexed from the USA and threatened US politicians to leave them alone and let them do whatever they want, repeatedly.
X-Men has really taken a turn from "Heroes out to prove that not all mutants are dangerous or bad" to "You racist humie motherfuckers better stay out of our way or we'll melt your brains and fuck you up! NO WE DON'T ABUSE OUR POWERS (*abuses powers to mind rape the US president*)!
I frankly can't call them heroes in the comics anymore. The hypocritical style of social progressivism has really permeated the comic's writing. They barely ever actually save non-mutants anymore.
Yeah but unlike the X-Men the Avengers are a common presence to the public they're not going to let any vigilante in.
Wasn't he just West Avengers
For a brief period of time and never really joined them
Is a secret agent, he public knows next to jack shit about her
>Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch,
These two weren't common presence before they joined the Avengers
>Sandman or The Hulk.
And these two barely even sortied due to their conditions
2 people are in danger and you can only save one. One of them is an evil rich business man that can give you as much money as you want. The other is poor and just trying to feed their family and can't give you anything
this is why Uraraka and Mt. Lady are shit heroes.
>They literally sequestered themselves on an island they annexed from the USA and threatened US politicians to leave them alone and let them do whatever they want, repeatedly.
That was years ago.
They're currently living in Central Park, where they teleported their entire mansion. At least they're paying the city an 18 million dollars a month rent.
Woverine was a member of the regular Avengers team in Stark Tower from 2005 up to his "death" in 2014.
Namor was a member for several years during the 80s.
The public knew that the Black Widow was a Russian spy.
Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were publicly known as members of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
You're right about Sandman, but the Hulk joined the Avengers again in 2012 and remained there for several years.
> they're not going to let any vigilante in.
You'd be surprised
Really? I stopped reading a while ago.
Do they actually save people again? You know, like heroes?
Or are they still being dicks to everyone then acting surprised when people get mad about it?
OP 1 > OP 2 = ED 1 >>>>>>> ED 2
Japanese kids are spoiled as fuck.
turning heroism into a business and a popularity contest is everything wrong with the world. We might as well let the villains win so we can go back to how things should be when heroes saved people because it was the right thing to do not because it would make them popular. This isn't fucking spiderman 3.
It's just a semantical problem. BnHA heroes are, like police or firefighters, just a civil service. Among them could be heroes in the original sense of the word like AM and Deku, but it's not like others are doing something fundamentally wrong, they're just victims of language evolution.
You talking about 39? I know right.
The Japs are known for being conservative, after all
>world constantly flooded with new heroes
>make it illegal for non heroes to use their powers
>economy revolves around the prison system and making sure enough people get locked up for using their powers
>anyone that realizes something is wrong mysteriously disappears
heroes were a mistake.
what does a hero do when there is no one left to save? They make people that need to be saved and villains that need to be defeated. The balance of power is already completely destroyed in their society the only way to keep heroes acts in the news is through artificial means.
I fucking love Madman Deku.
Get him back in the manga already, Hori
I feel like the manga could actually set up a plot based around this fairly easily, with how frequently the topic of all the rules and regulations based around Quirks in place to keep the status quo as close to pre-Quirk society as possible comes up.
Question is if anything will actually be done with it, or if it'll just remain this hanging background element.
And a bunch more. He fucked up almost every thread and he was posting faster than the ban rate
>deku does nothing but break his fingers like a retard until after exactly when this season is going to end
Wow what a waste of time should of just cut this and the dumb Stain arc. Muh ebin dark justice xD.
The only gripe i'll have is if they use You say Run pretty much every other episode like they did in S1. It's my favourite bit of the OST by far, but it loses it's punch if you use it for every action in the series.
Well, sadly he has to deal with actual physics. Rather than the physics ignoring bullshit power that every other speedster operates on.
I actually really like how analog his speed is. I like that it's not just that bullshit 'he's really fast because going fast is his power, why the fuck should the mechanism behind it matter' reasoning that your average speedster gets.
It's usually why their powers end up being complete bullshit (looking at you Flash) with the end result being that they are exactly as fast as they need to be to serve the current plot line regardless of how inconsistent it is.
how many points
would you say
Shinsou should have been voiced by Hosoya, Why does the fucking retarded egy Bird get him.
ATM i'm re-working OP1 with graphics from S2 and replacing those flexing scenes from the first half of OP2 with some comfy SoL. once when im finished im gonna post it
Even in the TV show Barry Allen is a fucking god in a human body only held back by all his shitty friends spewing moralistic garbage all over him.
Dude can literally reshape the fabric of reality itself. He's only 'powerless' from a metaphorical perspective.
I still can't believe he was intimidated when some guy was holding a gun to his friend's head when he can literally see the gun fire in super slow mo and catch the bullet before it touches the guy's head
Mina really shines in the anime.
Deku using the blast for the second time was so satisfying. Great episode.
Why is she so perfect?
Feels like I'm wearing nothin' at all!
Nothin' at all!
Nothin' at all!
Flash can do stupid shit. He can steal someone's momentum, trapping them forever in place. He can give people his speed powers for a limited time, he can use speed force to heal people or himself. He can vibrate so fast he phases through things. He can literally stop time from moving too fast. Flash is op as fuck. The only person stronger then him is Superman and thats just because its fucking Superman.
You now realize that Midnight is LEWD SLUTTY DEKU
Wait, someone explain how this worked. He was clearly behind them when the landmines exploded, so shouldn't he have been launched backwards instead of forwards?
>Mogimogi (もぎもぎ) allows Minoru to produce extremely sticky spheres from his head, which he can them use as projectiles, with a new sphere growing in place of the removed one. The spheres are able to stick to surfaces, with the exception of Minoru himself, who causes the spheres to bounce him away.
>depending on his health level, their stickiness may last a whole day.
if fapping could count as an unhealthy conduct would this mean that grapes is weak because he's a compulsive masturbator?
monk mineta when
Does anyone have the All Might reasons to live pic?
He likes giving and receiving massages.
It's less that they're overall better and more that having people try to murder them has given them perspective and removed hesitation.
I mean, who gives a shit about some robots or mines that are specifically set up not to kill you when you've had literal psychopaths ambush you before?
He's still got forward momentum so he continued moving forward until the explosion hit which boosted him further. If there were no mines there he would have landed well ahead of the metal plate. He wouldn't just stop because he slammed it into the ground.
>Jesus this OP
>Just a sidenote in the tourney fights
>Conveniently out of commission for the forest attack
My girl's gonna come in clutch when we least expect it. And it's gonna be fucking amazing.
It's not wrong really.
Midnight needs exposed skin to work, the more the better. Same as Momo.
The problem is if you're a chick exposing your chest and most anything below the waist is considered "inappropriate".
If you need to expose yourself to work as a hero, then playing off of it for popularity kills two birds with one stone. If using your quirk fully will cause you to accidentally or intentionally pop a titty out off and on, may as well take advantage of it.
Also dudes are stupid. If your "sexy" costume distracts villains for a second then well, their loss really.
She features prominently in the next game, then gets a final round.
Then you don't see her again for quite a while, but her reappearance is literally the capstone for the 100th chapter and one of the funniest sequences to ever be in the manga. For real.
>Quirk is literally being able to run fast
>6th place in a race
What a loser.
I wish she was more prominent in the series but I doubt she'll ever appear outside costume upgrade arcs or if they need X device to get somewhere in a unique way.
There's a reason you're the only one people tell to leave consistently.
I want to comfort Izuku's mom.
Everyone getting their time to shine is what I'm the most worried about.
As fast as Hori goes, there is a LOT of stuff happening in this manga. And I'm sure he WANTS everyone to have their moment. It's just a matter of if he has the time or not.
I remember when during season 1, one anon thought Ojiro was going to die and the series was going to turn grimdark.
while we had the kamino nightmare
>the chance of Ojiro dying is pretty much zero
feels good man
Too many characters is easily the series' biggest problem.Too many characters too fast without a chance to really focus on them.
Someone gets a character they like outside of the main few and are then frustrated that they never really feature. 18 pages a week doesn't help either
Negima had a similar problem but when through a few arcs of properly introducing characters one by one before it went into full shounen fighting.
>Mount Lady will never get more than cameos
