The only thing this has going for it is the slice of life moments between the girls while exposing more of Danmachi's world, and even that gets spoiled slightly thanks to yuri elf and boobs amazon doing the "maiden in love" shtick

I believe they are trying to rush it to reach the Minotaur fight with Bell in the spin-off. I kinda suspected they would try to forcibly adapt it at a fast pace to get to that point. But, I don't think it works out that well for this spin-off tempo.

I just hope they don't try to focus too much on fan-service instead of the story. Since I was mainly looking forward to it for the story and battles. The fan-service too me is something extra not the main thing I care about.
