She has great interactions with Touma without unnecessary romance crap. They have a very close, mature relationship with mutual trust, understanding and partnership, and it is obvious that they are very important to each other. She wasn't turned into just another haremette obnoxiously obsessed with Touma's dick, and while there are some subtle hints and implications, you cannot prove or disprove beyond a reasonable doubt that either of them harbors romantic feeling for the other.
Turning Othinus into fairy was very questionable from the plot development standpoint, but in exchange we got a good character close to MC, thus I, for one, welcome our new fairy overlord.

Also I quite like her personality - she certainly acts like a god. There is none of usual bullshit where mighty divine beings behave exactly like human school girls. And as I mentioned before, she doesn't instantly melt into a moeblob around MC.

As for her role in the story, her conflict with Touma and its resolution was simply amazing. I really wondered how Kamachi will have Touma defeat a literal god and was prepared for some serious bullshit, but I wasn't expecting this kind of approach. NT9 was a fucking masterpiece.

Pretty much. She's had really cool fight scenes lately, but not really much in the way of actual development in the manga. The last bit she had was in the Daihasei, where she sort of resolved her anger towards the city over the experiments.

I don't think she'll be getting any more in the manga either, considering she's actually become a real main character in Index (she's probably had more screentime in the last 5 volumes or so than any character but Touma), so it only makes sense for her development to occur there.
