My opinion on the show got a lot better when I watched it again with BD release this time around. Noe never took her relationship with Shin seriously because he was only being a replacement for her dead chicken, while Shin was in love with Hitomi from the beginning, just like Hitomi liked him too when they were young. Noe's brother is into incestuous relationship, but he decided to become distant with her because he knew his love won't be requited. Ai and Shin's friend got together, slowly but surely. Also Noe was dumb that she didn't realize that her brother had a hots for her and oblivious about relationship with people around her. In the end, she couldn't fly just like Raigomaru and true tears were shed.
