Just finished watching this, why do so many people like it? It was pure garbage from start to end and nothing made sense. Why was the MC alive and then dead again in the epilogue?
you have shit taste thats why

When OP can't put together information in his/her head so they get confused and angry when the plot isn't spoon-fed.
>>155701354
You're supposed emphasise with their shitty experiences/get attached to them due to their FUN adventures or their romance and then get upset when they all die in the end. IN the epilogue it turns out they just got reincarnated
>>155701354
Oh and they're in purgatory getting over their shitty deaths
/a/ likes it because the average poster started watching anime last summer and has seen about twenty series, which obviously isn't enough to form any educated opinions, and they think this show is deep or something because it deals with death and then some people cry.

>romance
That's another thing, Otonashi falls in love with Kanade in the last episode for no fucking reason and it's supposed to be emotional but we don't even know who the angel is.

but Anon angelbeats did spoonfeed at the end
2nd beat when?
>She was in the afterlife long before he was
>She had her life extended because of the heart she got from him when he died
>But she died before him
>But she also died after him
????????????????????????????

yeah making guns from mud is alright but time not being linear is immersion breaking
>>155706588
MC, whatever the fuck his name was, was wandering through limbo or something for a while before he got there.

>time not being linear is immersion breaking
Funny enough the idea that the afterlife exists out of time is somewhat common in a number of mythologies and religions. It's a bizarre concept to try and think about, that a guy who died in WWII would enter the afterlife at the same time as someone who died today; but it's a possibility.
