The first 7 episodes are mostly self contained and all with equal pacing. The Natural Elections arc starts slower with some backstory but escalates quickly. The Osaka arc is lighting fast. Then there are a couple of slower episodes with some explanations before the last arc that goes even too fast right after the timeskip (probably because of the one week delay of the airing date).
