Simple. Sketch in one layer. When done, Make a Linework layer and start working on the lines. SAI is pretty good in allowing editing of every single line you draw. Doing this in photoshop is a nightmare.

If you're the original artist I feel really bad for you. You're never going to get better with that attitude. Regardless of the other drawfags correction being right or wrong, yours has horrible structure issues and looks unbelievably flat.
