What? That's Griffith's child and is actually not a child at all... why do you think he rapped Caska? Just because he is a demon and wanted to torture Guts? No.

Giffith raped Caska to make the vessel he used on the second eclipse. The vessel powers to protect Caska are actually Griffith ensuring the fucking thing survives till he could use it for his reincarnation.

The vessel, however, shares blood and life with Caska which makes Caska the only earthly being able to harm him, hence Caska's retardation.

Griffith actually tested this when he went to see Guts. The little hell spawn made him protect Caska so while Caska can hurt him he can't hurt her himself.

This means Guts can't take on Griffith himself but as long as he can take Caska to him and protect her of every other demon she could finish him off. Provided that she wants to.

If Griffith leaves them be she probably won't chase seek revenge but if he attacks them again... and kill their new allies then...

It's Griffiths's vessel for reincarnation. However, Gut's kid is pretty special considering Guts not being actively in the IoE or the God Hands plan, and that he was tainted by Griffith's births twice.
