Gourai is freshly activated, the others are from the company and have been activated for a while. The entire purpose of them being there is that Gourai is a prototype sent out early to various modelers for testing, and the others are there to assist in the testing.

Also the manga Lab Days goes into it a little more. The first prototype of each of the FAGs were pre-programmed with personalities except for Gourai. Gourai was left with a blank personality to test if the new AI technology they developed could form its own personality and emotions over time.

Does it happen often?

The script writing seems very bland and the plot isn't adequately explained and i don't think it will be, but I like the concept of tiny dependent girls who are basically helpless but really want to pick fights. Also their relationships and interactions with their owner who is unambiguously their owner, they are more like objects/toys than people, not that this has never been done in anime. I think that interaction is interesting.

Baselard's current set is a rerelease. It first came out around September and it's just getting a restock right now in April.

I liked it, perhaps it will get the Ping Pong treatment as Monaca seems to doing the music. Probably veer off to the more FAG doing FAG things.

Buy what you want anon. Just be prepared to tighten up or glue some of the parts on the frame of a frame arms. It actually does come with a preassembled base body (unlike the FAGs) but a lot of it is loose and likes to fall apart. On mine it was the thighs, hips, and upper arm.

Actually, frame arms are quite fragile and falls apart more often than not. The problem lies within their loose frame. You should never touch them without joint tightening measures.

This problem is mostly solved in the reproduction lot though (with :re in their name). Make sure you get the reproducts!

Gunpla and FAGs are different companies, but both have colored runners and while ~okay out of the box, both benefit greatly from a small paint touch up. Even if its just panel lining and some flat/matte coat.

Better grade of gunpla such as MG amd RG usually requires almost or zero painting. Cheaper ones like HGs might need some of those, depending on each model.

FAGs are usually color separated except for the Torso areas of most models. Not that it looks out of the place though. The trend is that later the model is, less painting it requires.
