YKA was good I think, just a bit fast-paced. The reason why I like Penguindrum the most out of his works is that it hit the Goldilocks zone in terms of episode count. Utena felt like it was stretched too thin in some spots while YKA did too much in too little time. I think they're all masterpieces but Penguindrum was perfectly paced.
