I absolutely love Okabe's work, but I didn't enjoy Yuuki Yuuna, even though I wanted to give it a chance. The characters are very weak, even for a magical girl show (aside maybe one or two) and it has a cop-out ending that frustrated many and made a lot of the things in the show pointless. It still has a lot of fans and you might be among the people who enjoy it.
