First part was okay, it had some moral to it. Don't dream too much and be responsible or it will bite you in the ass.
Second part kinda had no moral overtone. Had the women lost her youth faster and faster after each treatment it would be acceptable, but the exchange was too nonequivalent in the end.

The episode was neither fun or interesting enough. I don't see it selling. It will probably be the first anime I drop unless there is some different catch but it will probably be just episodic shit.

The girl was addicted to shopping and when she no longer was able to get a kick out of it because of the repossession sought other ways to replace them. Its basically a weak person acting in a weak way. Like a drug addict fucking himself over.

I mean I can get getting some laughs out of it, but dumb people being dumb doesn't really hold much value to me to construct moral lessons out of it like many people here attempt to.

The first episode was kind of dull but I'm going to give it a chance because anthology series are generally hit and miss anyway. There were some really shitty Twilight Zone stories, but there were some great ones too.

Wrong on both accounts. He just offered the salarymen a drink. They should have known not to get hammered on the job, but they did so anyway. No magic was used to force them to drink. He never told the woman "Oh, I have magic powers and i you go to the spa, I'll age you and make you ugly" but he was very clear he would take anything she bought with the card. She thought she was clever by buying something that can't be returned, so she got fucked for it.

Just as a note about the first half of episode 1. It's actually a remake of episode 12 from the original. The episode plays out basically the same, but the two of them end up explicitly fired in the original.

And the way it is set up, with everything being repossessed the next day, makes it doubly clear it's meant to sate only the impulse to buy things and nothing else. It's a pretty generous magical solution to her problems, and yet it's not good enough for her because her real issue is that she's just greedy and empty inside. And of course Moguro knew that, hence his temptation of her. You would probably fall for the same kind of trick, since you immediately think anything not expressly forbidden is permitted.
