We've had one scene, and it was Touka encouraging Amon to talk to Akira. It was actually an example of the "show, don't tell" writing paradigm. If characters called Touka kind without any impetus that WOULD be bullshit, but she was being kind in this instance.

Likewise, Touka expressed she wanted to talk to Akira after Amon, and I highly doubt the person who killed Akira's father will be the one to reconcile with Akira. More likely Touka gets Akira to talk to Hinami, or maybe they don't talk at all.

It sounds like Touka is asking for Akira to come with her from the translation. Maybe she is just a messenger.
