Ive only played the CS and SG vns.

CS first half is fucking amazing, absolutly great. But the second half with the superpowers and all is shit, especially the ending.

SG on the other hand is amazing and only becomes better as you go through it. Them fake credits were the best part. Also probably the fact that Ive never seen the anime helped in that regard.

I actually thought the whole cycle of Okabe having to undo all the good deeds he did completely irresponsibly was pretty great thematically, especially considering how fucked up he felt taking back what he did. Same goes for the part right before he breaks, where he is struggling to maybe save Mayuri but just ends up torturing himself by watching her die umpteen times. Different strokes I guess.

I'm fucking mad about this. They rushed the ending and left a few things unanswered for the sole purpose of pushing the viewers to buy the VN, and it's not like it would have been hard to tie the loose ends with one more episode or an OVA.
I'd like to say O;9 is a great anime, but if I want to be perfectly honest, I have to say it's a great 5 hours long advertisement for a video game.
