I enjoyed it as a sports anime with a side of romance. I do wish that the side characters were given more actual screen time though rather than narrated insights over recycled, off-model animation.

As for Yuuri and Victor's relationship, I'm used to fujobaiting and ambiguous gay so I was cynical about the whole deal until episode 10 (I don't really think you can interpret it in any other way). It's a pleasant surprise how "normal" it was, like how a hetero romance would be portrayed in any other series. I think it's refreshing but not a big deal as most people would make it out to be.

Just my two cents.

As a massive fujoshi this series does absolutely nothing for me. I don't find BaldFat to be anything other than cute and the deliberate ambiguity doesn't bother me. I am mildly curious about Chris and Viktor's relationship though.
