OP here, I was reading it and it was okay, there was a lot of exposition for my taste but the designs and characters were good, but I just kinda stopped about halfway through

Not that I didn't like it, I enjoyed it a lot and the author really knows how to make memorable characters I just forgot about it since there weren't any new chapters for a while.

Drifters. The terrible FMAB-esque humour killed the atmosphere so many times. Not to mention the historical-figure thing wasn't used as well as it could've been. It's sad since it had such an interesting premise, I might come back to it though but then again I haven't heard much praise for it either.

Along the same lines (but something I completely gave up on), Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. I watched FMA 03 a few years beforehand and thought it was fantastic, so I was looking forward to FMAB since I thought it would be even better because of what normalfags misled me to believe. Turns out FMAB is trash. The directing is utter shit, the animation is worse, the soundtrack is blander, the characterization is fucking retarded, and the story that's supposed to be great because "muh manga" was a clusterfuck, but not in a fun way like the 03 version. I think I dropped it on like episode 44 because some furry lion-faggot was irritating the shit out of me.

I think it's happening with Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I want to like it, and I did for a long time, but I'm 70something episodes in and it's gotten so slow and there's like 40 fucking episodes left.
