The only important part that was missed was vol 11, where kirino, kyousuke and manami sit down together and resolve their misunderstandings by talking about their past. The rest doesn't really effect the story

That's pretty ignorant, maybe a single chapter from volume 2 wouldn't be big but concistently cutting 1-2 chapters every volume adds up a lot. There is so much characterisation missing in the anime. That's why you get so many people complaining about KirionoxKyousuke being forced, Ayase and Manami confessing out of nowhere etc.
